Slip resistance:

Boards of Techwoodn according to ASTM D2394-05. This is the best ranking for bare-foot slip resistance.

Weathering resistance:

Boards of Techwoodn have very low moisture uptake.This is key for mold and mildew resistance.

UV resistance:

4000 hours accelerated Xenon-arc Exposure,the Boards turned slightly more clear and colored.

Abrasion resistance:

The resistance to abrasion is similar to oak.

Fungus resistance:

A floor that isn't sprung can put stress on joints, especially ankles and knees, and can lead to shin splints and other injuries. The best surface to dance on is marley. It provides enough traction to prevent slipping, yet does not interfere with turning easily. While certainly not cheap, it is the most reliable flooring to dance on. Most professional ballet academies use marley flooring. Although I cannot stress enough the importance of sprung marley flooring, if you are going to turn (while wearing canvas/leather ballet shoes), I would say the more slippery floor is better. Turning on a floor with too much traction can be more dangerous than one that is a little more slippery. Turning on a floor with too much traction can lead to strained ankles.

Secure a dampened wascloth to your broom instead (by means of a hair bobble or rubber band) sweep over the floor and collect all the dust and hair without blowing it everywhere. I found this to be a much easier method and more thorough too. Try it.

Q:What gets ink stains from a pen off the floor?: Take a can of hairspray, and a humid cloth. Spray and wipe, no would desire to scrub, in basic terms proceed spraying and wiping until its all long gone. I had a newborn take an ink pen and flow around the full room, writing on each wall, on sort new wall paper. I have been given in basic terms approximately each ink mark doing this. sturdy success.
