Q: Need to figure out what our max budget needs to be for new carpet for about 900 sf.: I you were to walk into my carpet store you would see that prices fall anywhere between $3sf up to 10$ for most pieces. I would say the average installed price with a good quality pad and lifetime installation warranty would be around $5-$6.

Q: i just moved into a new apartment. i really like, and i spent like 2 days.....but walking barefoot on the carpet turns my feet black.....i live in small apratment, there is only one large area that is carpeted...are there any products that are good to use? would a carpet cleaner come out for just one large room?: Safeway has got Rentals for cleaning carpets. you can get liquids / powder also from there. try it

Q: It's for a project in math. Were supposed to figure out the price of painting a room and putting in new flooring, including supplies. I already figured out the paint part, I'm just not sure what all is needed to install carpet.: carpet pad and carpet . go online to get prices;;;carpet tape to join the seams $10;;;rent a knee kicker to stretch it $20,,a peice of metal trim $10,, some pad glue $10.;;;Box of tack strip that goes around the edge of the floor to stretch the carpet on to$50 ;;;razor knife $5;; seaming iron rental $20.. google how to install carpet so you see what these things are.

Q: its dark shade a little u can notice when theirs a bright light. I had it for weeks now. It faded away a little. its not a scar. it looks like skin repair. red blood vessel whatever. i dnt know. How long and what is it? is it like a long time bruise.: if its red-ish brown-ish, its not a bruise if it doesnt hurt. its like a scar n itll go away after a few months or half a year it happens to me alot.

See what he has before making any purchases. In terms of types, it depends on whether he is going to be field kept, stable kept, on a combined system and if he will be clipped in the winter. It also depends on the individual - some horses feel the cold more than others. It also depends on the storage space you have at the yard. My Connemara is on a combined system (in at night, out during the day) and has a hunter clip in the winter. These are the types of rugs he has: -Lightweight turnout -Middleweight turnout -Heavyweight turnout -Detachable neck cover for turnout rugs -Fly rug -Fleece coolers (we have a few of these as we like to keep one worn and the others clean for after bathing him when we are going competing) -Lightweight stable rug -Middleweight stable rug -Heavyweight stable rug -Duvet-type under rug -Summer sheet In the winter we layer rugs depending on the weather and the clip he has - he often starts with a blanket clip and once that starts to grow out, he has a hunter clip and requires more or different rugs. Rugs that are clean and not currently in use are left in the bags the cleaning lady put them in (we send rugs off to be cleaned a couple of times a year) and are stored in a wardrobe in a container provided by the yard we're on so they stay clean and dry. The rugs we currently use (fly rug, summer sheet, fleece, LW T/O) are hanging on racks in his stable - it may be summer, but the weather has no idea what to do so he is occasionally wearing a summer sheet or fleece at night. As for brands, it's trial and error. Our turnout rugs are Amigo and are about 12 years old and in excellent condition; our fly rug, under rug, summer sheet and one of the fleeces are Masta (again quite old - fly rug on its last legs though!); and his stable rugs all came with him. He did have two turnouts that came with him, but they got torn in the field - we tried patching them up, but they eventually died on us.

Q: I have just this cheap low shag carpet in my boys room I want to put down some wood planks. I don't understand why I would have to remove the carpet, it's so low it's not plush. Not quite as bad as commercial office carpet but pretty close to it. Can't I simply install the fllor over it, what's going to happen if I do?: Only can you install laminate over carpet if it is a very short napped, glue direct to the floor commercial carpet.
