Q: i puked on my carpet then i scrubed it with soap and water. just wanna know if that'll cause mold to occur?: no it shouldnt if you cleaned it well but just to make sure go over it again with some kind of strong cleaner or bleach and it should be fine

Q: is it easier to vacuum the industrial carpet than regular carpet. I plan to replace my regular carpet with industrail, because it is hard to push the vacuum and we have lots of dust. thanks.: I had industrial carpet (white) in my home and loved it. It was very thick and plush and cleaning was no problem and vacuuming was very easy. I would definitely recommend it. But the best is hardwood floors. Industrial carpeting is expensive and I can get bamboo (50 year guarantee) for $2.12 a square foot at Costco. Bamboo is a sustainable resource, also. I love it and I have six animals in the house.

Q: My roommate used a rug doctor to clean the carpet, she is a complete cleaning novice, and did it while i was at work. She sprayed to much of the cleaning liquid and left us with slightly damp carpet, it now smells. I have been spraying it with febreeze, but it doesn't seem to be helping too much.I was planning a dinner for some friends on friday night, but it's just embarrassing. Is there anyway i can at least minimize the smell by then?: Throw some borax on the carpet. It will do two things, absorb the odor and kill any mold/mildew spores that are festering in the damp carpet. I would position some large fans to dry the carpet out as well because the padding under the carpet staying wet will inevitably start mold growing. Leave the borax on there as long as you can and once the carpet is dry vacuum it up. It won't damage the fiber or the color either.

Q: they are all smallish and i guess mid grade carpet: A mid range carpet w/ pad and labor included ( a pad that will carry any warranties) runs about 2 to 2.50$ a s/f. You said your rooms are small so remembering carpet comes in 12 and 15 ft widths measure your rooms and find the s/f. Q: I'm getting new carpet put down in my room soon, but I'm very clumsy and I can't keep it clean. Is there some kind of carpet protector (much like a screen protector for a phone) that I can put over my new carpet?: some carpeting comes with a sheen kind of covering called Scotch Guard (it's nothing like plastic, it was sprayed on at the factory). Don't worry about keeping it spotless (just keep ink off of it, tar from your shoes, and paints and nail polish and nail polish remover, clorox, etc.) You can always spot clean a carpet, and you can always have guys come in and for around $40 a room they can steam clean that carpet. Maybe every few years or so.

Q: I have a medium blue area rug currently and i want to dye it to be a spring green color. Getting a professional or getting a new carpet is pretty much out of the question. Q: I have burns in my landlords carpet from cigarettes. How can I remove the burns short of replacing the carpet?: You can't actually get rid of the burns. The carpet where it is burned no longer exists, it's not like taking out a stain. What you could try is to find a remote spot of matching carpet, a closet or something, a place where it won't be noticed if you take a little sample of carpet. Cut out the area around the burn, an inch by inch section or so, and also cut a piece from the closet that is the exact same size. Replace the burnt piece with the closet piece. Some strong glue should hold it in place. If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas. That has worked for me though. Good luck.

Q: sooo... i just caught my husband cheating on me with the maid down tthe street so i ran out of them room and grabbed my samuri sword and ran back and chopped that b*tch in half. but i accidentally went all the way through her and chopped off my husbands penis too. so this b*tch was bleeding all over my carpet and i was getting pissed cause she was screaming so i chopped her head off. and that killed her. but then my husband wouldnt stop screaming cause his penis was just lying there... and he was really annoying me so i chopped his head off too, so then i stuffed their bodies in my hefty garbage bags and they're sitting in my freezer in the garage, but now theres blood all over my fuc*ing persian rug and i'm really agitated.: find a family with a nicer rug, kill them all , that will not only help you deal with your agitation, it will make stealing their rug much easier, I wish all lives problems could be solved so easily.
