- Q: I'm wanting to find seat cover tutorials to for sofa and rocking chair. Does anyone have a tutorial that they like to share? I have a book, but they only show pillows, and blankets. But nothing about seat covers. Any ideas?

- You might have some difficulties finding exactly the kind you want without paying a high price for it. Most sofas are designed for sitting rather than sleeping on. However, if you currently have a sofa bed type couch, then it probably is not very comfortable to sit on. Try checking out some Futons, since really good ones have removable pads that are comfortable for both sitting and laying on. However, don't expect to get one for a cheap price. Rather go for comfort not price. Also, you might look into getting a roll-a-bed, that can be stored when not in use. They are coming back in style and are pretty comfortable to sleep on. One the other hand, there is always the day bed that can be used in a den or spare room that looks great and sleeps good too.

- There okorder ) that is the best product I've ever used for pet smells and stains. It's a little expensive but it's worth it! The best plan of action would be using a steam cleaner first with a really good cleaner or even some of the urine gone in the steamer. Then once it's dry, use the Urine Gone as upkeep. This will get rid of the smell and may even help fix the problem of the cat peeing on the couch. A lot of pets will urinate on rugs and furniture that have that smell. (my dogs would always pee on the same spot on the carpet until I steam cleaned it). Plus always make sure the litter box is clean. Good luck and I hope this helps!

- Your sofa is actually a nice neutral earth tone and you shouldn't have a lot of trouble finding things to match it. One trick you can do is start looking wallpaper books, or magazine photos for examples of colors that have your shade of green in it. When you find one that appeals to you, take a sample and bring it with you when you shop for accessories. If you can't get a sample, then bring a big box of crayolas with you and match the colors of the crayons to the wallpaper. Keep your coffee table simple and classic. The sofa has a lot going on. You don't want anything too busy nor would you want stark modern lines.

- best bet is a flea market. I found mine at a flea market. I LOVE my sofa..its 7 feet long, olive green, really low and it came with a matching chair. I got both for one hundred dollars. The only thing is..its old.. but it was in fabulous shape and it is retro. And it stunk. haha, i left it on my front porch to air out for a week, then I put it in my house and it got my live in smell. I wouldnt part with it for anything. Plus i got a bunch of throw pillows and it adds punches of color. I get compliments on my set all the time. I swear, its a one of a kind.
