- For a modern look, I'd go with a modern convertible sofa bed. They've come a long way in the past few years and some can be quite comfortable. (Some people prefer that their guest beds not be too comfortable as to not encourage a too long stay!)

- We got this and it is a rubbish bed, just too hard. Shame on Ikea! Normally we really like Ikea. You don't really know about the hard bit until you are home, unpack it and notice. When you are reading this it is probably too late :)

- lightly decrease out the thread on one seam of the pillow. do away with the stuffing, if it truly is pungent and old, replace it with keep bought stuff or wash up old nylons and use to stuff your pillows(My mom did this even as we were starting to be up). Hand wash, soak in oxygen purifier, and rinse with vinegar water after which undeniable water. allow dry exterior inside the solar, wrong part out to maintain the shade, then upload back inside the stuffing of your determination and device or hand stitch the seam close back. if you are not a sewer, ask a pal who sews in the event that they'll help you with this, possibly have her over for lunch for her help.

- I don't know anything about argos sofa's but i have bought their pine bedroom furnature and been very pleased with it. My son bought leather sofa's from DFS and they needed replacing after 13 months because all the seat supports broke. He and his girl friend don't have children so it wasn't abused in any way. I bought a suite direct from a factory 10 years ago and it is good as new, so I suppose you get what you pay for.

- butter up the doors and the sofa. Get a running start and push. Or you can always get a contractor to pull the door frame then move the sofa in. Then contractor can put it back on. Also do the window.

- Q: I brought home a new microsuede sofa, and didn't even think about the static problem, until my 3-year old daughter sat down on it. (Her baby fine hair, looked like she had a finger in an electrical socket!) She's been crying since, because she's been shocking herself, and I'm wondering what would be the best thing to do. I am thinking Static Guard, but then I wonder if those first couple globs that drip from the first spray, might fall onto the sofa and stain it. And then I'm wondering if I were to use dryer sheets, would the fabric then feel like it had an almost waxy like residue left on it (as subtle as it might be). Has anyone experienced this before? The fabric is cocoa, so it's not like I can hide any stains in dark fabric. Thanks for your help!
- You have a static problem due to dry heat. If you add water into the air with a humidifier, the static problem will go away. You are right to think about using Static Guard. It will work wonders on the static electricity problem you are experiencing. If you shake the can well and begin spraying from a distance (24), the mist will cover the ara nicely. I would not use dryer sheets on the microsuede sofa.
- Q: I am looking for new furniture and I like the modern and contemporary designs but I also want a sofa that can recline and can't find one in those styles. Anyone know of companies that make these? Thanks in advance! :o)
- Did you check La-Z-Boy? They have all different styles. I bought reclining chairs that dont even look like recliners - they have wooden feet and no lever. I buy all my chairs and sofas from them, because they are so durable.
