Description of Vertical Multistage Centrifugal Pump
CDL/CDLF is a kind of vertical nonself priming multistage centrifugal pump, which is driven by a standard electric motor. The motor output shaft directly connects with the pump shaft through a coupling. The pressure-resistant cylinder and flow passage components are fixed between pump head and in-and outlet section with tie-bar bolts. The inlet and outlet are located at the pump bottom at the same plane. This kind of pump can be equipped with an intelligent protector to effectively prevent it from dry-running, out-of-phase and overload.
Application of Vertical Multistage Centrifugal Pump
It can be used to convey various medium from tap water to industrial liquid at different temperature and with different flow rate and pressure.
CDL type is applicable to conveying non-corrosive liquid, While CDLF is suitable for slightly corrosive liquid.

- Q: I've been noticing a difference in the temperature gage lately. The quot;change oillight has also been coming on and I just had an oil change not even a month ago, and the car isn't even due back for at least another month. I noticed there's a green/blue liquid in my driveway today, too. I looked under the car and something is leaking or dripping around the passengers side front wheel. More so the passenger-middle side. I've been told it could be the water pump.
- If it's not a heater hose leaking your most likely right that the water pump is bad and loeaking coolant out of the weap hole, which is their so you know it's bad and needs replaced , i believe you should be able to have a new water pump labor for around $300, bucks.Don't put it off to long or you might blow the head gasket. You don't wont to do take.
- Q: Why my Water Pump is leaking again? It was replace 2 month ago brand new water pump?
- if it was started with low water for some reason ,,change thermostat or hose ...to get the fan off hit the large wrench with hammer ,,,or fan is out of balance
- Q: I have a 1997 ford ranger, during last week i noticed that the temperature started to go up, i noticed that the coolant recovery tank was empty so i added coolant and it fixed the problem, but a day later i noticed that the tank was empty again since it started to overheat again. This time i let the engine cool off and checked the radiator water levels and noticed it was dry with no water, so i added water and noticed that i was leaking from what it seems the water pump (im guessing its the water pump because is behind the engine fan, behind the belts, its hard to see), Does anyone have a possible explanation or suggestion of what i should do? Thank you i would really appreciate it.
- did u get a mechanic to do it? or do it your self? in case you had a mechanic do it, ask them to restoration it in case you had no issues past. must be thermostat, must be you dont have sufficient coolant in radiator or maybe suited coolant to water ratio. All i know is you ought to bleed out the radiator to do away with all air after water pump is taken off and placed back on, while you evaluate that would reason issues aswell. ok nicely you merely as much as date it, so i'm too, your mechanic sounds like a dumb ****, he ought to have bled air out of radiator, the actuality he informed you is strange, ought to have fixed it then and there. this is an significant step of adjusting water pump. If there is air in it, your radiator and water pump wont be rotating the water precise. tell him to restoration it and say you probably did your examine and you're actually not paying yet another cent!
- Q: The wiper pump is broken. How much will it cost to fix it?
- This can not be repaired, can only be replaced, change a thirty or forty
- Q: I have a 2000 A4 1.8 T with 91 k miles on it. I went to the dealer for my oil service. I told them that I hear a quot;clinkingnoise when I start the car and that it goes away after the car runs for 5 minutes. I told them to check this also. They diagnosed and said that the water pump has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Since it was close to 105 K miles, I might as well change the timing belt. Total charges for both is 1250. And they also see that Cam Seals starting to leak oil. Since I was doing the timing belt, I might as well change them too. Additional cost to do them is 950. So the total for all three comes down to 2200. I bought the car at 90 K and checked it at Firestone and they said it was cool. They noticed an oil leak but said it was not anything major that needs to be taken care of right away. Do you think the dealer is taking me for a ride here? I just drove 500 miles and would things go this bad all of a sudden? Or should I make the replacements? Please advise.
- I also own an 2000 Audi A1 1.8T. I am also currently researching the same problem. It turns out that 2000 Audi (up untill 05/2000) the water pump is on the OUTSIDE and not driven by timing belt. So they can and should be changed independantly. So you should check to see if the timing belt was changed already and how many miles on it (change the timing belt about once every 60K miles to be safe). The engine codes (that has water pump on the outside) are: AEB / ATW (150HP engine). The engine code AWM (05/00 and onward) has water pump driven by timing belt and should probably always be changed together. I think these are the more powerful 170 / 180 HP engine. My Audi dealer (Beiner Audi of L.I. NYC) did NOT tell me this. They wanted to squeeze in an unnecessary additional $400 unnecessary repair for the water pump along with the over priced timing belt replacement. The Audis maybe driven by upscale market, but the dealers are still no better than the old used car salesmen. Good luck, Jong P.S. Get yourself a factory Audi service manual (I own a Bently publishing manual and Chilton VW/Audi manual). Do your own research. It's saving me tons of money. P.P.S Also, always use full synthetic motor oil if you want to avoid the engine sludge problem. Turbo engines are prone to engine sludge. Funny how model year 2000 A4 was NOT recommended synthetic oil (till recently). Could it be that back then THEY had to pay for the oil change and now all 2000 A4 are no long under bumper-to-bumper warrantee (and the more expensive synthetic oil are no longer their cost)??
- Q: Submersible pump and self-priming pump which is easy to use?
- If the injection pump, submersible pump is self-priming pump well.
- Q: here is the problem with my water pump control switch settings. the water is being used, runs dry and stays off for sometimes 3 minutes or so.i realize the springs control the cut in and cut out. do i need to make the spring more compressed to make the pump come on sooner? or do i need to make the spring looser to make the switch come on sooner?when i read/hear about adjusting the cut in. the answers seem vague because i do not know the perspecitve of the spring.does compressing the spring make the swith flip easier? or does compressing the spring make the switch harder to flip on?i installed a new 30/50 switch today. My air tank was at 50 or so PSI. but i dropped it to about 30. is the goeal to make the entire full system 50 pounds? because after my pump cycles i get about 70 psi!!!
- The problem lies with the new 30/50 switch. With Your pressure tank empty of water, set the air pressure at 28psi. What is happening is when the water pressure drops below about 45 psi - the air pressure (50psi) on the bladder is forcing the water out rapidly. Then the pump has to work like cracy to overcome that bladder pressure! Easy Fix. Make sure the tank has no water in it.
- Q: Hello,I have a Kia Spectra, 4 doors, automatic, 1.8, 2002, 64000 miles, and the alternator belt just broke. It seems that there is a chance that the water pump was lost on the process.I looked on line and to buy from the dealership, these pieces together would cost me around $70.What would it be a fair price for the service? (thinking that I was unlucky enough to lose the water pump? How do I know if my water pump is good and they are only changing it to make me spend more money???I am a girl (foreign student), and don't understand of car, or know any repair shop that could take care of that...Thanks!!!
- You have either a bad belt tensioner or a bad bearing in the alternator. But my guess is the tensioner due to the fact the belt was placed on the alternator and the 1st mechanic made no mention of a bad bearing in the alternator. With the belts off right now, just open the hood and spin both the tensioner and the alternator. They should both spin freely with no resistance. If you find resistance, then you found the part that is breaking the belts. good luck....
- Q: I've been looking online and can't find anywhere that tells me how to replace the water pump in my 1999 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0. Help please.
- Go down to your local Auto Parts Store and ask for a Hayne's Manual for your car, this will show pics and explain in detail how to do just about ANYTHING on your car!
- Q: Mechanic really could not locate the origin of the leak but says the water pump needs to be replaced and says it's a lot of work and would cost $350. How can the origin of the leak be determined. He used a pump and raised the pressure on the radiator but that didn't reveal anything either. Please help.
- Water pumps should be replaced every 60K miles and the timing belt should be done at the same time. If your water pump hasn't been replaced in that long or longer I'd blame it having shaft play for your leak. The water pump is in the same area as the belts so it's definitely the most likely culprit.
