- Q:I'm currently treating my cats for fleas and have been on a hoovering mission to try and tackle the problem in the house.99% of what I've read on the internet tells you that you MUST throw the bag away every time you hoover because fleas can escape! I can see how they may be able to survive the process of being sucked up and that eggs can still hatch, but can they really find their way out of the bag and down my long henry hose and back out into the outside world?I'm hoovering nearly every day and it seems ridiculous and expensive to replace what is actually a pretty empty bag.I'm putting a sock over the hose and securing with one of the attachments to be on the safe side but what does everybody think?
- I understand your situation and bless you for being so diligent. When the bag gets full, put it in a plastic garbage bag and tie it closed really good then throw it away. Consistent vacuuming in every corner, crevis, under furniture cusions, top and bottom of appliances, matress, etc. Wash counters down with bleach along with top and under of refrigerator, stove, bare floors, etc. Wash pet's bedding in hot water with bleach. Cut some lemon wedges and boil them. Let sit overnight and the next day spray your carpet, furniture and pets with the lemon juice. Comb your pets fur sideways on an old cloth or garbage bag then throw away making sure no specs fall onto your floors. You can even wipe your pets down with vinegar, since fleas do not like the sent. Fleas can live without a host for 6 months so all of this needs to be done frequently until you are sure all fleas are gone. Also keep your yard grass cut short and discard any debris where fleas can hide like old furniture. If your pets have fleas in their ears, put some mineral oil or olive oil in their ears (this should be done away from carpeting and furniture). Let pet shake the debris out then take a cotton ball and wipe ears out gently. Good luck, I hope you get rid of those litte irritating pests.
- Q:why are some dogs afraid of vacuum cleaners?
- Whenever your questioning something that has to do with an animal, look at it from their point of view. Lets look at it from a small dog's poing of view. Your laying on the carpet, and suddenly, this huuuggggeee towering thing starts rooaarrinng and its just so loud, and you see the dust flying everywhere, and as it moves, it sucks things up, it like eats things alive, and the big bright lights, and its comming at you, and its gunna suck you up, and its oohh soo loundd and its moving toward you....AHH!!!
- Q:I am slow to put my sweaters away for the summer and out of the way of moths. It's possible a moth already found them and layed her eggs on them. I shook them all outside carefully, have placed them in a zipper bag and will add some mothballs. Will that kill the eggs that might be in there???P.S. I am not going to wash them all because some were washed and others are not soiled.
- get some moth balls and put them inn the cupboard with them, you just have to be careful with that sort of thing. you dont want a load of bugs eating all your clothes.
- Q:what is green light for on heritage II vacuum cleaners?
- your unit is full?
- Q:I am searching for low price vacuum cleaners that do a very good job of picking up stuff and don't wear out easily. Do you know any good vacuum cleaners under $70. The lower the price is the better.
- love the roomba but its not that cheep unless you look and get lucky on OKorder
- Q:Because it seems to be clogging and breaking all my vacuum cleaners =/
- There is a sponge that you can buy at almost any pet store...u rub it on the carpet or couch and the hair sticks to the sponge (using static) then u just grab the hair on the sponge throw in the garbage and use again
- Q:Preferbly cheap
- Do those even exist? I have been to gift shops all over Disney WOrld many times and never recalled seeing such a thing.
- Q:i wanna sell vacuums door to door how do i do this?
- Aiming high aren't we?
- Q:how much air does a rainbow vacuum move?
- Check out vacuum cleaners at a public library in a magazine called Consumer Reports. If you do not get an answer there, try the rainbow web site.
- Q:It's 2014 and it doesn't really seem like vacuums have come that far. What's worse, they like everything else on the market are made for the dump. So whatever deal I happen to find on a seemingly decent vacuum is really going towards the next seemingly decent vacuum..... the vacuum I own is a perfect example! it ran me about 50 bucks but it's crap, and overall the cleanliness of my carpet, and air are the real cost of my savings...The only vacuum that I can say really proved itself in front of me was a Kirby, but there's no way in hell I could justify quot;to myselfdropping 1500 or more (depending how good the salesman was) on a vacuum cleaner....even ifit'll suck dirt through 12 inches of cotton...So to my question, what vacuum cleaner brand, model, etc. has the best suction and filtration but also won't break the bank??? Somewhere around $100-$200 maybe even $300 if need beAny info is appreciated, thanks in advance
- Dyson, eureka, shark, dirt devil, Bissell, got 20 of each laying in the office. Spend real money on a Kirby that will last 20 plus years cleaning up to 14 inches deep. Call for a demonstration at your local Kirby store. They'll Show You the Difference between Kirby and any other.
