- I Worked for an office and did great. We never forced anything on anyone and the owner was very proffesional. Sounds like you have a bad manager. I would quit and report him to kirby. - Q: Ok I have a eureka whirwind vacuum cleaner and whenever I use the hose and take it out of the hole and turn the vacuum on dust shoots out of the hole and i have to turn it back off because there is no point in using it if its just gonna shoot the dust back out! - Shop Vac type vacuum cleaners are made to suck dry or wet, the filter is modified manually for either dry or wet vacumming. All you need to know is that they work. Have owned several over the years.
- Q: Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance?
- I fight this urge. I normally will pick it up and somehow hold it until I make a trip to dump the contents of the sweeper. But I have this urge to throw it down for the sweeper to pick up. Why I don't know.
- Q: Vacuum is the absence of matter. From my understanding, vacuums work by fans and air currents....I don't understand.
- Vacuum cleans don't suck. They create a low pressure area inside the machine by blowing out air (matter) and the outside air pressure blows air into the cleaner to fill in the void left behind. So you could call it a blow cleaner, but that doesn't sound as nice in an advertisement. The low pressure area inside the machine is a partial vacuum, so the name is accurate.
