- Q: the place is pretty secure, I'm just concerned if the jack stands are reliable enough to withstand that amount of time. What do you think?
- Yes, but I don't think it's necessary for 3-4 month layover. Your tires are not going to get flat spots in that length of time.
- Q: Car lift machine is born and how to slide down
- You can contact a person who asked you to lift the lift machine! Lift is not the best thing to find professionals
- Q: Lifting machine side of the insurance stuck, how maintenance?
- Should be a hydraulic system problems, it is best to check it.
- Q: I just wanna know if its possible?? I am willin 2 lift the car
- Once again, Bandit-05 gets it right. 18 rims are the limit that allow best possible performance. For a 22 rim, you need far bigger shock absorbers/struts, thicker coils springs to deal with the extra unsprung weight and maybe a larger wheel arch/wheel well to accommodate the large thing. The car will probably look like a monster truck by the time you lift it up a bit and I'm sure you'll get poor handling performance too.
- Q: I am a senior male in high school I cannot choose between a muscle car and a huge lifted truck. please help!!! I currently have a 1973 pontiac ventura GTO but I think I want to get this 1984 ford f350 with 6.9 idi diesel and 37 tires and 10 lift, please help me!
- well. huge lifted trucks are for tools. so if your a tool get one of them! If your arn't get a muscle car.
- Q: to a second piston with a radius of 15.0cm. a) how large a force must the compressed air exert to a lift a 1.33x10^4N car? b)what pressure produces this force? neglect the weight of the pistons.
- The compressed air must exert a force greater than 1.477x10^3N because the ratio of piston surface areas is 9:1 (15/2)^2 / (5/2)^2 9 Pressure must be in excess of 236.44N/cm^2 or 23.644 bar. The 236.44 comes from 13300N / (15/2)^2 cm which is of course also 1477.77N / (5/2)^2 cm (equal pressure for the two pistons, different forces proportional to the piston areas)
- Q: 2 cars are lifted to the same elevation in a service station. If 1 car is twice as heavy as the other, how do their potential energies compare?
- potential energy of car mass*acceleration due to gravity*height acceleration due to gravity and height are same for both cars so they PE are measures of their masses PE1:PE2m1:m2 2:1
