Q: I was just woundering if you would be able to lift a mini and make it in to a off road vehicle. and if so what else would I have to do to it to make it able to go off road? thanks
The car has to be more than just lifted to be a real off road vehicle. You need your car to be light (compared to the HP) and most of all it need to be a 4WD (or you will be stuck out there in the woods). You can still lift the car for looks (but keep it on road). It will be unique look for sure. But expect the handling to be not as good. Don't forget to vote for the BEST ANSWER - please - whoever it may be. FACT: You also get +3 points when you vote for BEST ANSWER
Q: Is weight lifted off of the bushings?
the lift brings the car up by raising by specified lift points and the sprung components are raised up as if the car has gone airborne on a big jump
Q: A stuntman drives a car (without negative lift) over the top of a hill, the cross section of which can be approximated by a circle of radius R 250 m. What is the greatest speed at which he can drive without the car leaving the road at the top of the hill? The answer is 178 km/h, but I don‘t know how to get this answer.
What a lovely, lovely question!!! The only hint here that you need is find the equation for centripetal force. The car will take off when the force is overcome. Don't forget to convert the answer from m/s to km/h!!!!!! Should take you a maximum of 2 minutes to get the answer from reading this.
Q: I recently bought a car and had to find out the hard way when I parked that the front of the bumper is too low. Was just wondering, does someone have a rough estimate as to how much it would cost to lift just the front maybe 2 inches or so?
this car is all about looks. and would look ridiculous if it was lifted 2 inches. I would just be careful. air shocks are an option but are expensive.
Q: the right side of the fulcrum and a 0.050-m-long part on the left side supports the back of the car. How hard must you push down on the handle so that the lever exerts an 9000-N force to lift the back of the car?
This is a torque problem. When you push the right side of the lever down, you are producing clockwise torque Torque F * d, d 1.6 Torque F * 1.6 Counter clockwise torque 9000 * 0.05 450 F * 1.6 450 F 450/1.6 281.25 N I hope this helps you to understand how to solve this type of problem.
Q: about how much will it cost or will i even have to get it lifted? i have a 2001 cadillac deville
22s on a 2001 cadillac deville will fit without even having it lifted. but anything bigger you will definitely need a lift
Q: Okay so I am really unsure of how it happened, but somehow I drove over a curb when I was leaving a parking lot and hit the bottom of my car, super hard. My car is now making a really funny noise when I drive and I‘m really scared, nothing like this has ever happened to me! I know nothing about cars, so does any know what I might have done to it, and how much it might coast to fix?
Check your exhaust for holes or tears. May be the cause of the funny noise. Put a piece of cardboard under the engine of your car to check to see if you have any leaks. Inspect your oil pan make sure there's no damage. Call around shops in your area for a quote on repairs.
