- Q: I‘m trying to figure out how to flip a car over on it‘s side from one piston. The car is 2,000 lbs. Thank you.
- I think this is right. 4 250psi 6 167psi Since you are tilting the car and not lifting it, the most you need to do is lift 1,000 pounds. As the car tilts it will require less and less pressure until it hits the center of gravity and after that it will flip over just with gravity. Of course a little more pressure would give you breathing room.
- Q: 1. in a hydraulic lift, the diameters of the pistons are 5.00cm and 20.0cm, respectively a car weighing w10.0kN is to be lifted by the force of the large piston? a. what force F must be applied to the small piston?b. when the small piston is pushed in by 10.0cm, how far is the car lifted?c. what is the increase in the pressure of the fluid?can you please show me how to do this. need help i have an exam tommarrow and i dont know how to do this. please helpppppppp
- Slow down and downshift, then use more rear brake. Stay out of the center part of the lane your in, that's where most of the oil build up is. Apply front brakes with light touch, a lot of the water being picked up off the road will have oil mixed in with it coating your brake rotors. This causes them to slip at first then get real sticky. If you lock up the front wheel get ready to get high-sided!!
- Q: I just wanna know if its possible?? I am willin 2 lift the car
- Once again, Bandit-05 gets it right. 18 rims are the limit that allow best possible performance. For a 22 rim, you need far bigger shock absorbers/struts, thicker coils springs to deal with the extra unsprung weight and maybe a larger wheel arch/wheel well to accommodate the large thing. The car will probably look like a monster truck by the time you lift it up a bit and I'm sure you'll get poor handling performance too.
- Q: I have a 2003 hyundai accent with gray cloth seats. A few months ago, a water bottle spilled on my seat. I dried it as best as I could, but there was a large dark water stain left. I think the seats are weird about staining badly. Does anyone know any way to lift hard to get rid of water stains? I really don‘t want to take it somewhere and pay to have it done because I am selling the car. No sarcastic answers please.
- There's a product that we use for all types of stains and it works great, its called Tuff Stuff !!
- Q: I have a 1999 toyota corolla 4 cylinder automatic. I bought this last year, and didn‘t have any back problems. Now I have severe back problems, and pain. Getting in and out of it is killing me! I really like my car, and I have invested a lot of money into it, and would prefer not to sell it. My dad has a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pickup truck ( 3/4 pickup truck ) and getting in and out of it is a lot easier for me. I can‘t drive it all the time due to the price of gas. My Dad also has a 2002 Nissan Maxima, and it is a few inches higher, but doesn‘t help my problem. Is it possible to lift my car up about 12 inches or so?Around How much would parts cost? How much would labor cost? What is the most you could lift this? Is there anything else that I could do to help me with this problem? I don‘t have a lot of money to spend. If will be checking this often, so if you ask any questions, I will answer them.
- Sadly, you may want to look into a smaller truck or SUV. There are some fairly fuel efficient ones out there(though not likely as nice as your corolla). If you can drive a manual transmission, that will always help! Maybe something like a 4cyl Ford Ranger or Chevy Colorado.
- Q: I just bought a 07 toyota tacoma and im looking to put a lift on it. Whats the difference Between a suspension lift and a body lift? Pros and Cons? Also would a 6" lift be too tall/unstable for my daily transportation? Thanks.
- 6 isn't too tall/unstable, but it is pointless on a small 'truck'. A body lift just raises the body on the frame. You don't gain any ground clearance, so if you're going to go offroad, it won't help you any. Suspension lifts are the only way to go. Stick with around a 3-4 suspension lift and 32-33 tires on that truck and it will go 95% of the places you would want it to go...before breaking and needing a jeep to tow you out.
