- Q: 1st question: The state I live in has no McLaren dealerships, where can I take it to get maintained with someone who is certified? I asked the Ferrari dealership and they said they only service Ferrari‘s. 2nd question: During winter when a person who owns a Ferrari or a high end super car and doesn‘t want to drive it in the snow or winter and they leave It sitting in the garage, should they start it weekly for a few minutes? And should they lift the car 6 inches off the ground so the cars suspension doesn‘t wear or does it really matter? And the car would only be sitting for a few months

- Q: first of all, the black cat superstition is true because i saw a black cat a couple days ago before this accident took place. basically i missed a turn, tried to make the turn and hit the curb pretty hard. i can stilll drive the car but the steering wheel is misaligned (its jerked towards the left). Brakes work fine, and no physical damage done to the car were done. It‘s only the steering that is problematic. How much would it cost to get it repaired, and how long would it take? - Q: I took my car for tire replacement and my car was dropped twice from the lift. I would say that the car was dropped from a height of 4 feet. I got an incident report from the manager and now I think I should take the car to some other shop for inspection. There are no visible damages but I think dropping from 4 feet is not something that cars are made to withstand.The car was dropped twice, one time I saw it myself, the other time I only heard the noise and noticed the mechanics putting additional jacks under the car. Upon asking, I was told that they just want to be careful that the front of the car doesn‘t drop to the ground while the rest of the car is still on the lift.Now, I am not sure where to take the car for inspection and whether a mechanic can pinpoint the problems resulting from this incident. Any suggestions?
- I would take the car back to the garage who fitted the tyres. They may have fitted different tyres. 41 sounds quite high. You can usually tell if they need pumping up by looking at them, there shouldnt be much of a bulge at the bottom of the tyre.

- Q: I was just wondering if when driving a car and you leave the clutch pedal paused at around 6 or 7/8ths up. can it wear the clutch out for the other 1/8th? it‘s just my clutch has a little play at the very top now i‘m not sure if it‘s always there and it‘s just a coincidence or if I have done it by not fully lifting the clutch up after about 5-10 seconds when in low gears and finding the revs.
- Yes it is okay but may not always be considered the best approach by some codes. Until recently, every house I have lived in had a gas water heater and gas furnace. Both were always connected to the gas line by a flexible copper line. We never had any leaks or other problems with these connections. In recent times because of cheap Chinese stainless steel, you see more connections being made with flexible stainless steel. The odorants in natural gas and propane are not of sufficient concentration to cause copper to fail. They can discolor the surface but that is all.
