Q: lately ive been really into cars and i was wondering what are some cool things other than lambo doors and lifting it?
I am a huge fan of custom cold air intakes, they are straight forward and easy to do. Don't just buy one make one. BTW lambo doors are so played out that even Lambos dont have them anymore.
Q: where can i find shocks to lift a car for 22 inch rims?
One of the two copper pipes has corroded and is leaking. Turn off the water and replce the bad copper pipe. All you need is an adjustable wrench and some teflon thread tape.
Q: i have a 1992 lexus ls and i saw another and i loved the way it looked i just wanna raise it either 2 or 3 inches how much would it be i heard body lift is much cheaper then suspension liftcan some one tell me which is cheaper and which is better and why pros and cons thanks
I had this problem with my car as well. Car was working fine and when I got off work and started it, the engine was shaking and causing a really rough idle with the check engine light on. I had no idea why it was doing that. Took it to my house and plugged in my diagnosis tool and found that I had a misfire in the 5th cylinder. Changed the ignition coil and put new spark plugs and this fixed my issue.
Q: My dog is a golden retriever and she‘s really big. Heavy and just big in general. Today, I went to give her food and she didn‘t come out. Turns out, whenever she tried 2 get up/ stand up, she limps. She won‘t out any pressure whatsoever on her back right foot. I know this happened overnight cuz my family member said she was fine early in the morning when he woke up. There‘s nothing in her paw and I‘ve given her arnica and tried massaging her foot. She hasn‘t gotten up since this morning and it‘s making me nervous. She doesn‘t move away or flinch when u touch her leg tho. I dunno what‘s wrong. We tried putting a towel under her belly and lifting her up with the towel so there‘s no pressure on her back leg but she can‘t decide where she wants to go. I brang in the food 2 her so she‘s eaten. I‘m trying 2 figure out how I could even get her into the car 2 take her 2 a doctor. She literally won‘t take more than 2 steps even with my help. And she‘s big so it‘s NOT easy 2 lift her up. What do I do?????
You can do this but you are removing the vast majority of the biological filtration in the filter. Most of the bacteria that breakdown the ammonia reside on the biowheels and removing them will diminish the ability to breakdown ammonia. Have you tried adjusting the spray bars so that they spray on the back of the biowheels? this will cause the wheels to rotate backwards and the result is less water dripping into the tank making noise.
Q: Does lift effect how a car rides?
Most definitely, some sports cars even have aerodynamic qualities that force them onto the road so they don't lift off the ground
Q: I have an old school 4 post lift and I want to upgrade to a newer 2 post. I was lookin at the MaxJax(buddy recommended it)any ideas?
Should be good as all have to be certified for safety. So next question is how much use will it get?
Q: Assume the effective coefficient of friction retarding the car is 0.22.(i solved the problem multiple times and got 1.5*10^6 J, but that is not the correct answer. I want to know what I did wrong) Thank you.
First calculate the height that the car reaches above the starting point: height 930*sin 8° height 129m Work done in lifting car to this height m*g*h Work 950*9.81*129 Work 1,202,215.5J Now you have to account for the friction: Coefficient of friction 0.22. Frictional force retarding motion 0.22m*g*cos 8° friction force 0.22*950*9.81*0.990 Frictional force 2,029.8N Work done against friction Force * distance Work done against friction 2029.8*930 1,887,702J Total work done 1,202,215.5 + 1,887,702 3,089,918J Work required 3.1*10^6J
