Q: 1st question: The state I live in has no McLaren dealerships, where can I take it to get maintained with someone who is certified? I asked the Ferrari dealership and they said they only service Ferrari‘s. 2nd question: During winter when a person who owns a Ferrari or a high end super car and doesn‘t want to drive it in the snow or winter and they leave It sitting in the garage, should they start it weekly for a few minutes? And should they lift the car 6 inches off the ground so the cars suspension doesn‘t wear or does it really matter? And the car would only be sitting for a few months
First question: You don't own one, so there's no need to worry about it. Second question: You don't own one, and likely never will, so there's no need to worry about it.
Q: How to fix a two-column lift? Trouble of high support.
The specific size of the plate you can count about the weight. Two 2-square-meter boards should be enough. The
Q: I have some homework about aerodynamics, and I need to find out how to make cars faster, explaining stuff about airfoils, drag, lift, surface finish, stability, etc. any tips. NEED HELP NOW! due in soon!
I run a can of fuel injector cleaner thru my Merc once or twice a year, but that's all. Nothing goes in with the engine oil, but I'm fairly good at changing it about every 5,000 miles.
Q: I am 16 years old and about to get my first car. Its a small truck and i want to lift it but i have no idea how. Do i buy a lift kit and do it myself or take it to a mechanic or what?? Will somebody please help me and tell me what i need to do??

Q: I wanna know what cars that you guys owned trough your life. Sport cars? Classic vintage cars? :-))Best answer for best story!
Here is a list and the current condition of all my cars. *Lifted 1966 F100 4x4 w/390 stroked to a 410 and 4 speed - Ongoing project *1969 Pontiac Firebird w/400 and 4 speed - Ongoing project *1984 Jeep Cherokee w/2.4L I4 and 5 Speed - Junked due to major electrical issues *1986 Nissan 200sx w/5 speed, stripped down to 1900# for hornet racing - K.I.A (killed in action) and scrapped *1987 Mercedes 300E, first car, my mom got it with a salvaged title and gave it to me when she totaled it. Then I fixed it, totaled it 2 more times using it as a rally car and traded it for a truck - traded to hipster *1991 GMC Sierra 1500, I over loaded it, jumped it, and beat the crap out of it. - Sold it for $1000 *1991 Oldsmobile 88, jumped it, rallied it, hit 100mph in it, beat some ricers with it, went sledding on the hood, and used it as a daily driver for 7 months - Rust In Peace, it died yesterday. Bikes *1982 Honda NC50 Scooter (looked just like the one in the move hot rod) did all sorts of tricks on it- Sold it for $200 non running *1985 YZ250, rode it for a while, realized 80's tech sucked - Sold it for $300 non running *1994 YZ250, trail bike bored to a 262 does wheelies in any gear - Still ride it.
Q: two post car hoist/lift usually they lift to around 6foot 6 inch or two metres are there ones that lift higher

Q: So I am looking into buying a tdi from a teacher at my school. If I bought it, I would want to put a small lift on it and have some bigger tires. I think it‘d make it more fun to drive around and I was wondering about the cost of a car lift kit and which one to get. I could probably do it myself with the help from a few of my friends who have lifted their jeeps and such. I am a vw guy so I‘d rather not go get a jeep. If anyone has done this before please let me in on how much the lift itself cost and what would be a good option. Thanks
Most VW guys go low. You'd be an idiot and the laughing stock of the VW scene if you lifted it.
Q: I live in FL we supposedly never get ‘dangerous‘ tornadoes, but earlier today everyone was saying that there was one. How big does a tornado have to be to pick up a car? And what about to destroy a typical house (you know -- the houses that only have a thin layer of cement around the outside)? Thanks!
A tornado only has to be an EF2 to lift a car off the ground. To throw it a great distance requires a little more strength. The EF2 in Billings, MT on Father's Day picked up a pick-up in the parking lot outside the MetraPark and dropped it inside the arena. The truck wasn't that big, but nonetheless, the tornado was strong enough to get it inside a building. The twister also scattered and tossed some motorcycles in the showroom of a nearby business.
