Q: You drive your car onto a lift powered by hydraulics. Outside of the garage, a small hydraulic cylinder with a cross sectional area of 1.150m2 is connected to an air compressor, which can expert a downward force of 475 N onto the hydraulic fluid in the narrow chamber. The fluid is connected to a larger chamber under the car that has an area of 23.75m2.A. What is the total pressure in the hydraulic fluid when the air compressor is turned on? Give your answer units in PaB. Your car has a mass of 1175 kg. What is the weight of his car?C. Is this hydraulic system capable of lifting your car? Explain your answer by including relevant calculations
I currently have the Nike Ignites. They are ok, but by no means did they improve my game. I am actually researching new clubs at the moment.
Q: What jack will get the car the absolute highest without spending money on a professional lift? (Preferably the entire car, but doesn't have to be)
The best price-to-performance ratio is the hydraulic (hand-operated) horizontal jack on four wheels. It has the necessary height and load capacity to lift most cars sufficiently to be able to lift one or two wheels (side or axle) off the road. The entire car can be lifted only by the professional stationary column lift. Important: NEVER work under a car on any kind of movable jack; ALWAYS chock the opposite wheel and brake the car before lifting; ALWAYS use a tripod or similar passive support as safety against falling off or jack failure.
Q: I have a 2005 Honda element that I would like to lift up about 3 and everyone keeps telling me its impossible. Well I know anything is possible, especially with a car, so any one know for sure?
HAHAHAHAHA lift an element? dude, you have to post pics of that if you doit would look rediculous! it's an element, not Jeep! haahahahahah Do it! you'll just end up wishing you didn't waste your money
Q: When your jacking and lifting a car, are you supposed to first put the car in neutral and release the parking break, or put the car in park ? I go to a technical high school and the auto teacher taught us to put it in neutral first, but my dad keeps arguing with me that you put it in park. I told him that you put it in neutral because the back wheels have to move so the front end can go up, but he says it doesnt matter because the jack has wheels ?
Leave the car in park because if you leave it in neutral it will slide. Make sure you lift on the frame of the car.
Q: Lift off oversteer fwd. MK5 GTILift off oversteer explained in the simplist and easiest way
Lift-off oversteer is an oversteer caused by lifting off of the throttle. So you enter a corner quickly enough, turn the wheel into the corner and than lift off of the throttle at once. If compliant enough, the car should lift-off oversteer. To recover you need to quickly straighten the wheel and accelerate forward. Do not try this since you won't make it: Even if you do manage to get the lift-off oversteer going, you will not manage to recover from it; at least not effectivelly enough.
Q: I was just wondering if when driving a car and you leave the clutch pedal paused at around 6 or 7/8ths up. can it wear the clutch out for the other 1/8th? it‘s just my clutch has a little play at the very top now i‘m not sure if it‘s always there and it‘s just a coincidence or if I have done it by not fully lifting the clutch up after about 5-10 seconds when in low gears and finding the revs.
clutch pedal needs 1/2 to 3/4 of inch of freeplay at top so don,t ride on throeout berring
