- I agree with the other response. It looks like it would be unstable in the base. My buddy is looking into a lift for his garage but he has limitations on height. He found a company that has a lift similar to a pallet jack, that you slide under the car and just lift it. It is ismilar in price but seems WAY more stable.

- i did the same thing on my 03 rubicon very easy to do. however i had a car lift so that helps but considering the average person doesnt have one you can easily use jack stands and put them on the frame. all you have to do is lift the front with the jack and put it on the jack stands and disconnect the sway bar and take off the tires. then when in the air this will loosen up your springs so you just have to play with it and theyll slide right out which then you put on the spacers and then put the spring back in. take off the old shocks put on the new ones and do the same exact thing to the rear. its cake i had a real easy time doin this only took a couple hours also if you werent considering it id get some quick disconnects for your sway bar so you get the most flex when you go 4 wheeling.

- Q: When I take off and only when I take off from a stop, my car feels like it bounces from the front for a short period of time untill i press on the clutch again or simply reach higher speeds. I know my front struts are in good shape and so is my clutch and tranny. I was thinking it might be some bad motor or tranny mounts. After inspecting and coming to a conclusion, I think it might be the bobble strut. I have never replaced it and all other mounts look good. Is there anyone who could give me advice or also thinks it might be the bobble strut? As far as I know the bobble strut is there to allow the engine to move just a bit but it its worn then it might move excessively right? please help!!!
- need to raise car on a lift then run it and rev it and inspect the bottom of car while on life. if it raises a lot then a mount is bad. I have no idea what a bobble strut is but sure sounds like it's more likely the struts or springs. you should also inspect the bushings on the suspension

- Go for Audi a8, trust me! we have a 2007 audi a8 3.0 tdi and it is the best car we ever had, it's more economic and fast, it hase a bose 1000 watt 9 speaker system which is very powerfull and has crisp clear sound, the car also has air suspension - lift which lifts the car when you want to offroad, Comfort when your driving around the city the car feels very soft and Luxurious and finally dynamic which makes the car very stiff and sporty so you can drive into a round about at a speed of 70 kmh and the tyres don't even make a screech (if you get what i mean) the car just stays on the road, the car is Luxurious and sporty at the same time. With all wheel drive (Quattro) the car is just superb. It also has an audi advanced key which means that you can walk up to the car with your key in the pocket grab the handle and the car will open automatically, sit in the car and start the engine by pressing the start button, so basically you don't need to use your keys at all you just need to have them with you. The car also has double glazing so it is very hard to break the glass and break into the car, it is also quiet inside due to double glazing.It also has parking sensors and a rear view camera which really helps sometimes. The car just feels like a dream on the road. But if you want buy an a8 which you won't regret, trust me!, Go for the Audi a8 LWB it's longer and even better, it is available in 3.0 tdi, and 4.2 tdi or fsi.
