Q: 1996 Eagle Vision tsi,has a small coolant leak,was told it iso.k. due to a water pump pressure release valve?has anyone heard of this on an auto?I thought they were only in hot water tanks at home.: Your friend is full of it. There is no water pumper pressure release valve. When the preasure is high the radiator cap spring compresses and allows water back into the overflow.

Q: I got a water pump replaced a few month back, ( i own a 95 Honda civic) i have a wierd muffled rattle coming from that part of my car, i was told by a mechanic that it sounds like a bearing is dried out, he says that it wont affect the water pump itself but the ratlle will remain ... is this true . . .: if the bearing inside the water pump is noisy, that is not a good sign.
