- Q: I enjoy baking as a stress buster and I was curious if using a cookie press was difficult in any way (including clean up). I've never seen one in use, but thought it would give my cookies a unique appeal since I don't know many people who use one. I adore those old fashioned, European style cookies.
- No, they are not difficult to use, you just need to practice a little. I bought one last year at Christmas time, So I will give you a couple of tips: 1) Use the recipe that comes with the press. They made the machine, so they know what combination of ingredients will work best with their machine. Some cookie doughs are too stiff, some are too buttery etc. to work in the press you buy. After you learn to use the press, you can try adapting some other recipe. 2) Chill your cookie sheet. The dough will absolutely not stick to a warm sheet, which will cause you undue frustration. Chill it for a few minutes before you cook your first batch, but more importantly chill it between batches. I like to rinse mine with cold tap water until it is cool to the touch, then dry it really well and stick it in the freezer for a few minutes before making a second batch. 3) Get a good quality cookie press. I got a Wilton because it seemed easier to fill and it comes apart completely for cleaning.

- Press ups yes they can make them look bigger but more or less they were made to look fuller. A padded push up now that makes ya look alot bigger then U are! I think id rather look fuller meaning up more and postioned right.

- Freedom of the press gave people the right to publish their opinions in the newspaper, where as in other countries if you published a negative opinion about an important politician or something you could get killed. It was important to the abolitionists because they could speak their minds freely and get their opinions across to others without being restricted.
- Q: I have a 2000 Mazda Miata and up until recently it has functioned perfectly. Recently it started to make a squealing sound when the clutch was pressed. I noticed the sound would go away as soon as the car warmed up. Now however the problem has leveled. The car now stalls every time i press the clutch. If I press the clutch it makes that squealing noise until stalling the car. I have not driven it since it stalled on me. My question is what is causing all of this mess? and am I pretty much at the point of no return? Will I pretty much have to replace my whole transmission?
- Clutch pressure plate or disc is probably warped or the clutch release bearing is frozen. Get the clutch overhauled. Also it would be good to have the rear oil seal replaced. Use only factory Miata parts. Put the gear in neutral and turn the crankshaft manually by putting a socket and a breaker bar on the crankshaft pulley nut. If it turns your tranny should be ok.
- Q: Are 1990 ford bronco 5.8 efi piston wrist pins cliped or pressed ? And can a [bent] connecting rod be removed from bottom with oil pan removed? drove truck though water on back woods dirt road and it sucked up the water like a thursty camel because of the position of air intake scoop. Will be putting on a snorkle when engine is repaired.
- well you sure you bent one first and some have clips some are press and ive drove thur high water a many times up over windows or cab full of water and never bent a rod doing it i have flooded the motor a few times even suck in water and had to drain the oil in motor and trans and rear ends but never throwed a rod doing it but anyways if you dont see any clip then its press time most are not press that ive done and yes kind of but you have to drop crank also might be better if you pul it out the top side and we make snorkles out of pvc pipe and a flex hose you could drive it under water if you could hold your breath dont you just love the back roads

- The Printing Press certainly DID NOT cause the Reformation. It certainly helped it along though. Bulk printing copies instead of hand writing them out helped distribute documents 1000 times quicker than before. Which means a 1000 more people would get to read them. It also meant that anyone with a printing press could PRINT just about anything out without the blessings or without the directions of the leaders, the Pope, or the Church. Whereas pretty much the only people that were processing any kind of documents before the printing press was one of the above three.... the leaders, the Pope, and the Church. Free Press!

- Yes you should try to press charges. That is the simple answer. Its going to be harder at this point since you didn't report it right a way. A lot of the evidence that law enforcement would need will have gone. But I would still try. Who knows, he might have done it to someone else, more recently. And your testimony in her case or hers in yours can get this guy off the streets. From personal experience, guys that wont take no for an answer have done it in the past and will do it again.

- you can find purses at nearly every gift shop in disney world. depending on how big it is, the characters that are on it, and the material its made of it will run you anywhere from $10-$50ish. and there are coin press machines all over the place. each machine is unique and has different pics to choose from. its worth the 51 cents if you have some shiny pennies and like the picture options. but i wouldn't go that cheap with ssouvenirs you could get magnets, jewelry charms, pens with little characters on top, key chains, little stuffed animals with magnetic hands and feet and much more for about $5 a piece. so you still wouldn't be spending big bucks but those types of ssouvenirsdon't make you look like a cheapskate.
