1. Structure of Safety Valve Description

Hydraulic Surface Safety Valve - SSV is designed to quick closure due to a pipe leak or burst, equipment malfunction, fire, or similar emergency. The Surface safety valve (ssv) is normally closed, pressure needs to be applied to the actuator to compress the spring and open the valve.

The pressure needed to keep the valve open can be provided with a simple hand pump which, in an emergency, is bled off on the rig floor. However, a more sophisticated system called an emergency shut down (ESD) is recommended because it allows the actuator to be activated remotely.

We designs and manufactures hydraulic actuator and slab gate valve, assembled safety valve with consideration of optimal safety and economic. The available safety valve sizes from 1-13/16" through to 7-1/16",of pressure rating from 2000psi to 15000psi.

2. Main Features of Safety Valve

1) Fitted  with a valve-opening indicator
2) Designed with the relief valve
3) Designed with the plane thrust bearing structure
4) Designed with the meal-to-meal sealing structure
5) Fitting with the valve stem sealed by using some special material made lip-shaped packing
6) Made of high wear-resising& corrosion-resising materials, both the valve core and bean are durable
7) Designed and manufactured strictly in accordance with API Spec 6A ,ANSI and NACE MR-0175 standards.

Q: I have a curtis toledo compressor at my house. While moving it a helper dropped it on its side into the tank and broke off these 2 valves off the very top of the compressor. They had a copper line that ran off both of them and went over to the auto on/off switch, I'm guessing that's what it is. Where can I buy these or at least what are they called?
They are the unloader valves. Look online for places that sell parts for air compressors.
Q: i was thinkin i needed rings cause my car was smokin like hell and had a bad compression test on one cylinder. anyways i got the head off and my valves are caked with black **** all down one side and the others are completely white. i dont know if when the car turns off if they're supposed to seal but four of them were about a quarter inch off the head. before i tested everything i was smokin like hell and barely runnin and you could hear a knockin sound in the exhaust at the rear of the car. could the head be the problem or still sound like rings??
have the head checked for level milling it may be warped if it has ever overheated..
Q: I am buying a 2004 Ford Taurus tomorrow and want to know the difference between a 24 valve V-6, and 12 valve V-6...Now besides the obvious difference in the # of valves...Is one better then the other???
The 24 valve has 2 intake and 2 exhaust valves when the 12 valve only has 1 intake and exhaust per cylinder, the 24 would give u more power but will most likely use more gas.
Q: I've found a little beemer that's only $800. I would like to have it as a 2nd car that I'll use in case something's wrong with my main car to loan maybe once or twice weekly to my neices (16 yr. old twins). The seller says it needs a valve job. My question is, will the valve job cost me more than the car?
You bet it will! A valve job may uncover valve guides that are out of specification. In which case the old guide hole will have to be drilled out and the guide hole honed, new bronze / nickel or hardened steel guides pressed back in. An ordinary valve job is relatively straight forward and easy but the labor involved with the tear down a new head and valve cover gasket without valve guide repair will run nearly $1,000 at a BMW dealership and 20 -30% less at a private mechanics shop. Most private mechanics AND dealerships do not do the actual valve job. The cylinder head with the valves are sent out to an automotive engine machine shop where the actual work is done. The dealer or private mechanic does the disassembly and reassembly of the head back on the block and gets the car running again.
Q: Does a diverter valve even make a sound at all?
No. A diverter will typically be installed before any catalytic converter or muffler to allow you to have a free straight flowing exhaust by dumping the exhausted there. it has two out puts and one input. one out goes to stock exhaust one to open exhaust. Noise on demand really. Blow off valves for are for Turbo charged cars and make a whistling noise when they release air pressure when u let off the gass.
Q: for a big block chevy, best way to adjust valves and rockers
ok, take the valve covers off and start your car(let it idle)take the first 1 and loosen it until it starts to tick, then tighten it,until it stops and then give it another 1/2 to 3/4 turns more and do the rest the same way.an old time mechanic told me that way,and it works too.
Q: How would this affect the functioning of the heart valves? How would this be detected in a routine examination?
Endocarditis is usually caused by bacteria. When symptoms are prevalent, blood cultures are done to detect what sort of bacteria is present. Many types of bacteria can cause endocarditis. Normally, blood flows smoothly through heart valves. But if they have been damaged, by some other medical condition, defense mechanisms (such as white blood cells) cannot enter the valves. Then bacteria can have a chance to take a hold on these valves. So if bacteria establishes a hold on the valves, the body cannot get rid of them. Antibiotics can be used to treat the infection. If antibiotics does not work, then the infected valves are removed surgically and replaced with transplants or artificial valves. I hope this helps. good luck
Q: I have recently been diagnosed with Endometriosis within the last 2 years. I have also had Mitral Valve Prolapse (MVP) for the past 10 years. ... Anyways... I was reading in a brochure for Endometrosis that there is a commonality between having those two diseases. If you know of the reasoning behind this I would be very interested in knowing. As I have yet to find an answer yet. I am just curious why having one will give you a larger likley hood to get the other. Thanks for your time and answers!
I went to see an herbalist and when she heard that I had MVP the first question she asked was did I have endometriosis as well. She asked only to confirm and to state that she had ZERO female patients with MVP that did not also have endometriosis. I can tell you that since menopause, the endometriosis has been unnoticeable, but the MVP has gone from mild to moderate. I monitor my body better than most because of an autoimmune disorder. I do not doubt that there is a connection.
Q: I have a Ford Explorer 4x4 2004 model. The check engine light soon has been on for two to three weeks, I finally got it checked and they said i need my ERG valve cleaned. They quoted it for around 50 bucks, which is fine. However, i dont get paid until a week from now. Will it be alright until then? What are the effects of a dirty/faulty ERG valve if not taken care of??There are not sputtering or anything abnormal that i can tell..Thanks.
If your truck runs, you can probably continue running it for a while (likely a long while), though you might pollute. If the EGR valve gets stuck open, it will drop your vacuum pressure radically. That will cause your engine to run roughly and inefficiently. If the EGR valve gets stuck closed, your smog system won't work right (you won't be recirculating the exhaust gas to re-burn pollutants. It is possible that the shop had no reason to tell you to clean the EGR valve. You might ask the mechanic if it is stuck open or closed. He might have suggested cleaning the EGR as preventive maintenance.
Q: automotive cylinder heads and valve
Valve rotators are just that, they cause the valves to rotate during operation preventing wear in only one spot there by extending the life of the valve and the valve seats.
