Q: Moving in dorms. Rugs help please?
The first rugs you are looking at are called, Scatter rugs for the most part. They should have larger sizes. Bear in mind that most carpet is made in 12 feet widths. The length can be any, but the normal room size rug sizes are 9 X 12, 12 X 12 and up. Those dimensions are in feet. The smaller rugs may be 4 X 6, 6 X 9, and some smaller. If you wish to cover the largest part of your floor, you must measure the room. Then keep in mind the 12 feet width. Do not overlook doors which must clear a rug. You may have consider a size that will avoid a door dragging the carpet. You mentioned covering the entire house, which is Wall to Wall. This requires installation. You may not be permitted to do this in a dorm room, and if you did, you cannot remove it and keep it. I noticed that some prices on that site run up to $338 and up. Those are likely room size rugs, 9 X 12 or so. A cushion underlayment will cost extra. Measure your room and start from there.
Q: Hi yahoo answers give me a suggestions to remove the rugs from the carpet..
Rugs can be cleaned by yourself or letting them lay there unclean...Months have been known to devour areas of rugs due to lack of vacuuming... Also, dirt breaks down the delicate fibers of your oriental rug and causes uneven wear... Our cleaning process is gentle and customized to your specific rug type. Your rug will be cleaned off-site, and it yields high satisfaction....
Q: Not huge but not small an appropriately sized den rug from an old furniture store like the dump.
It depends on what you consider big. The most common shapes are rectangle rugs that range from 4x6 feet on the smaller side to 12x20 feet on the larger side. From what I gather, you must be looking for a rug somewhere in the range of 8x10 feet to 12x20. These go for at least an average of $15,000 - $30,000 for a high quality rug. I attached a reference link to a rug search inventory set to rugs that can be bought in the 12x20 size category.
Q: I have berber carpet in my living room and every couple of days i will see this white stuff just magically appear on the top of the carpet. I go to wipe it away and it seems to be nothing, like it just disappears, nothing left on the towel or on the rug like it just vanishes. It's in the same spot every time. Could something be growing under the carpet? If so, is it mold and how can I fix it?
It sounds like a powder carpet deodorizer was once used on the carpet and is now walking to the surface. These gimmick products are a real nuisance once they have been administered to the carpet. According to directions they are supposed to be vacuumed from the carpet, however, that is near impossible with out a mega ton beater bar and a super volcanic vacuum cleaner. Mold only grows in high humidity, needing a food source, such as extremely soiled carpet or upholstery, wood or paper. Berber carpet, if Olefin is a tough carpet to vacuum as the fibers run horizontal with the floor, soil, spills, etc, hide under neath the carpet strands. Place your hand on the counter top, spread your fingers, imagine a spill on top of your hand, The spill will migrate down between your fingers and position itself on the bottom of your fingers. That's how Olefin carpeting is made, tough to vacuum and tough to even professionally clean.
Q: need list of carpet pythons from smallest to largest along with website for caresheet need straight up answers nothing stupid so means i only want experienced people answering
And contrary to what Aaron says, i have found, as have many others, that most subspecies of carpet don't need very high humidity. You don't want an arid environment either, but 40% humidity is more than adequate. There are also other subspecies, inland carpets grow to an average of 5-6 ft, diamond pythons grow to an average of 5-7.5 ft, darwin carpets grow to an average of 4.5-6 ft, but the ones Aaron listed are the most common, at least in America.
Q: After the water inside the car, it is necessary to uncover the carpet inside the room after wiping cadres and painted with oil?
Suggest that the owner in sunny weather, the water into the car under the sun, so that the air conditioning system in the warm air block, and then the air flow to the maximum, in the car door window open under the state of the sun for more than 10 minutes. Also, check that the filter screen is clean or need to be replaced. There are many cleaning agents for cleaning air ducts in the market. They can be washed by themselves.
Q: I have dried set in pet stains on my carpet (old and new) does any one know of any over the counter carpet cleaners i can get that does not have to be rubbed or scrubbed in? looking for something I can spray on let dry then vac I am unable to get down and scrub and rub
Not a carpet cleaner, but an enzyme neutralizer. Nature's Miracle or Simple Solution from the pet store. Squirt it on and just let it dry. Will not clean the carpet. It will eliminate the stain and any odor.
Q: The carpet in my living room is looking worn out due to heavy traffic. If I get it professionally cleaned, will it help make the carpet look newer?
It would look somewhat newer but it will still probably look worn down. sorry):
Q: I have rented the rug doctor before and have been satisfied w/ the results. I am in an apartment and not willing to pay for more. It works great for the $20 rental. However, the get you on the shampoo, anit-foam, ect. Does anyone have a cheaper alternative? By the time I get all this, its not so cheap anymore. Is there even possibly something organic I can make or get cheap? I am having a baby in 3 months and do not want the linger of chemicals in the carpet.
This Site Might Help You. RE: Renting Rug Doctor but is there a cheaper shampoo alternative? I have rented the rug doctor before and have been satisfied w/ the results. I am in an apartment and not willing to pay for more. It works great for the $20 rental. However, the get you on the shampoo, anit-foam, ect. Does anyone have a cheaper alternative? Q: We are currently in a rental and our dogs chewed up some of our carpet. The carpet is berber and we have left over carpet in storage from when it was installed. One chewed up piece is in a corner and the other is a long rectangle area maybe 2 feet long by 7 or 8 inches wide. That area that is chewed up is in the middle of the carpet. Is there any way to just cut out the peices and replace them with the extra carpet we have or is that not doable with berber carpet? If we can do it can you tell me how or who to contact. Thank you so much!
Berber will be harder to match, but if you've never patched carpet you will not like the results. Somethings are just cheaper to leave to the pros who have experience and all the necessary tools and materials. I would check with a carpet cleaner who can fix carpet too. This would allow the repair to be part of the cleaning in the same visit, so it would be cheaper. You could just let your landlord have it fixed, but you should know how much it should cost so you don't get ripped off. If your landlord has a professional fix the carpet, the landlord must live with the result, he can't just say he doesn't like your work, or your carpet guy's work. Finally, a good source for new carpet is in you closets. Did you pay a pet deposit? That should cover you. Do you have renter's or household insurance? That should cover you too.
