Q:I already looked at the company website and could not find the ordering option for those specific cords. HELP PLEASE!!
Hi okorder ..
Q:I have a feeling my power quot;brickis faulty and need to find a replacement, hopwever, none of the high street retailers quot;Game, Gamestation, HMV, Argosseem to stock them.
Wireless Adapter For Xbox 360 Argos
Q:the power cable for my macbook is frayed and today started to spark. its currently unplugged, because of the sparking. i am trying to figure out if the power cable is covered under warrantee. the macbook is still covered under warrantee until August 2011Thanks in advance
They do NOT fray like that without careless handling, which is NOT covered on warranty.
Q:is there any way to fix this? i don't want to upgrade my power thingy though.
Not sure what you are referring to here. But you should be able to find a power cable long enough at Wal-mart or maybe a flea market or even a yard sale.I've seen them at Salvation Army and Providence Ministries that sell all kinds of stuff.
Q:Hello guyzz, recently i have bought new card powercolor radeon hd 6770 1gb gddr5 .i installed it but it required a 6 pin power cable forbut i checked in my all pc..i cant fine any 6 pin power cable.so without any cable its not working wat i do plzzz help.......
This is something you should check before you buy the video card. The card may have come with an adapter that plugs into a couple of your ide molex power connectors, and has the 6 pin connector you need on the other side. That might do it for you. Unless you don't have ide power connectors either. Or you can buy a new power supply. If your current power supply isn't big enough to support the new card you may end up buying a new power supply anyway.
Q:I just got done building my new computer, and am putting in my cd-room's.When i plug in the power to them they will open, but when i connect them to the motherboard with the ide cable they wont open. And yes i have everything plugged in right.
Your CD-ROM should have at least two cables connect to it, a power cable and IDE cable that should also be connected to your motherboard or other interface card. Disconnect the IDE cable from the back of the CD-ROM and reconnect it, do the same on the opposite end of the cable. Next, if your CD-ROM drive is not getting any power disconnect the cable from the back of the drive and reconnect it. Check jumpers If you've recently installed any new disk drives such as a new hard disk drive verify that the jumpers are properly set on the back of the CD-ROM. Having the jumpers set improperly to master or slave can cause the CD-ROM to not work. Notice the 1 missing pin in the middle of your Cd-Rom IDE connection?. On your IDE cable there is a blocked hole in the exact same place. If you turned this cable around the wrong way you might have bent one of the pins or broken it off completely
Q:I have a Raidmax 730w power supply, and its modular. there is only one plug in for a 6 pin, and the cable has 2 different 6 pins on the same cable. Will this cable be able to run 2 different video cards running XFire? or will is also be able to run say a 6870 that requires 2 6 pin connectors?
You should be able to feed two cards that each require 1 6/8 pin PCI-E power source... or 1 card that requires 2 6/8 pin PCI-E power source. A cable with 6 pin provides 75W power to the card. With the 75W available on the PCI-E x16 slot, that would be a 150W supply. 2 6 pins will up the available wattage to 225W. Cards that require a 6 pin and 8 pin are 300W cards. Your cable/PSU port is designed to provide any of those combinations of power to the videos card(s).
Q:ok ive been having amp trouble lately. it wont turn on. ive figured the problem today when i got the voltage tester out. I have me Remote Turn On working. My ground is solid.RCAs connected properly.NO fuses are blown. ive checked all of them; 30 amp fuse for AMP, Max fuse under the hood, fuse relay center under the hood too, all good. connection from the power terminal is solid. heres what happened: i decided to move my amp and run the wires under the door sills because i needed more space. so i just had the car off and i disconnected my remote, power, and rcas. i left the ground because that didnt need to be moved.i dropped the power wire and it hit a seatbelt thing, and it sparked once. but not big.nothing blew, but now it seems like my power wire isnt working, my amp wont turn on-keep in mind my amp was not touched by the spark in any way.
that's odd. a power wire is way too big to burn and lose conductivity. no way, not on car amperage. u can look up any manufacturer dealer authorized electronics shop, or any electronics shop and have them bench test the amp to be safe. My guess is the conductivity of the power wire is compromised. look at the battery terminal connections, remove and clean them. maybe burnt. this is odd. seriously I installed many systems and I have sparked and no issues. also shorted battery ( i doubt) and as the man above says, main fuse / relay
Q:Will that work, just get the new country's type of power cable? its a 4gb 360 slim
Just get a power converter and plug it in to that. Much easier.
Q:I'm new to PCs and I recently bought a Dell Optiplex 745 desktop PC but it came without cables. I thought I had the correct power cord but it turns out I gave it away to friends. I have the power cable that you plug into the wall which has the standard PC kettle plug (the correct one for PCs not an actual kettle plug) that you'd usually plug into an adapter then into your PC but I'm not sure if you can just plug it in without the correct adapter. I have Googled but cant make head nor tail of it all. And by adapter I mean the cable with the little box that you usually plug into a device such as a PC, laptop or Xbox 360 before you connect the cable to the mains.Thanks.
It all comes down to the amount of output that the pc is set to take. I would think that you would be fine without the adapter, assuming it already works. If you do decide to do this make sure you set up a surge protector, dont just plug it into the wall. A power surge could fry the internals and brick the pc.
