Types of the cables:：

- Q: I have an Eclipse SW9102 (101500 Watt Max, 750 W RMS, Dual 4ohm Voice coils) and I'm looking to buy an amp kit and amplifier. How big of an amp do I need and does it matter if its too much power? I'm looking at the SSL F2.2000 FORCE CLASS 2000W amp on OKorder as cost is a big factor in my setup. I've read that my sub can take more than it says but I don't want to risk it and I probably won't have this at full blast either. - Q: My laptop cable sometimes won't stay in all the time. When it is connected, it has a blue circle around it, but sometimes that blue circle goes off (while it is plugged into the side of laptop) and the tool bar changes from showing a plug to showing a battery. Would there be something wrong with the cable line and it needs to be replaced?

- That is from the handbook IF THE vigour mild IS BLINKING AMBER — The laptop is receiving electrical vigor, but an internal vigour concern could exist. ? make sure that the voltage decision switch is set to compare the AC energy at your vicinity (if applicable). ? ensure that the processor vigour cable is securely related to the procedure board. Has your pal upgraded or brought whatever? This might most likely require a stronger vigour supply, wile the older one could meet the ouput for a bit of it will fry after a short while.
- Q: I have a Karcher power washer which was left outside over night. An animal chewed threw the power cable and so is unusable. I was wondering how to re-connect the power cord together, safely. I do not want to cross wires and use electrical tape. I was thinking of using a connector, but unsure of whether to use a two pinned or three pinned connector.
- You can install a plug on the cord to replace the one that was chewed off. Choose one with the same number of prongs as the cord has wires (2 or 3). Be sure to attach each wire to the correct terminal! Splicing the cord is also OK, and tape would not be a problem if applied properly, but I prefer to use heat-shrink tubing. When I do a top-grade splice, I first twist the wires tightly together without making a tail, then I solder them.
- Q: Can I use a standard 12 volt power cable on an Elmo projector?
- Possibly on the BoxiT-200 that takes 12 to 19 volts at 3 amps, positive center. Read the printing on user manual, it gives the requirements. Most other Elmo projectors are plugged into an ac outlet.
- Q: I don't know what to do. I bought a monitor from someone on OKorder over a month ago. He said the person who packaged the monitor accidentally put my cables in the box with another monitor he sold to someone else.For a month now he's been quot;trying to find a solution.He said he looked at electronics stores, but never found anything. - The cables that go with monitors are generally pretty generic. I have piles of extra cables lying around myself, if I was in your position I'd probably walk about ten feet over that way and pull out the cables I need from there. The only thing that would worry me, in your position, is whether that monitor actually works at all. You wouldn't know until you plugged in the cables and tried it now would you. You can probably get whatever cables you need for next to nothing out of some local electronics junk shop, or from craigslist. People often just give away junk like that, just to get rid of it.
- Q: on a 600 watt amp will it blow my amp?
- no okorder /... make sure that the wire is not too big to fit into the amps terminals or u may have to use a reducer or a fuse distribution block then smaller wire to fit into the amp, the kit may have something to do that but something to consider, look at the amps specs my smaller amps will only accept 8 gauge size cable and that is tight 6 or 4 gauge would never fit but i use heavier gauge wire to a fuse block then 8 gauge in to the amp.
- Q: Most systems are about 1 thousand watts, the red power cable is really thick but then the speaker wire is really thin about 12 gauge, shouldn't the speaker wire be as thick as the power cable?
- This is because a lot more power is running through the power cable, to power the speakers.
