1. CCA, Copper Clad Aluminum Wire
It has th advantages of:
1.small density of aluminium
2. good conductivity of copper
3. high signal transmission property
4. light weight
5. low production cost
6. direct soldering, good colorability , high adhesiveness
7.thermal stability . high thermal endurance . high temperature softening breakdown
8.HF-resistance , solvent resistance and chemical property resistance to winding damage

Application :

CCA wire widely used in Cable TV signal and large volume communications net work signal transmission,

control signal cable ,welding  cable and so on .

2. CCS,  Copper Clad Steel Wire

Features:

1. High intensity: is 2 times than pure copper wire that is if the tensile strength.
of pure copper wire is about 215 to 265, then CCS can reach 430 to 530.
2. Light weight: lighter 13% than pure copper wire. Under the same wire size and
weight, its length is 1.13 times than that of pure copper wire. So buying 1 ton.
CCS wire is the same as buying 1.13 tons' pure copper wire.
3. Saving cost: CCS wire price is just 35% of that of pure copper wire.
and its appearance quality is the same with pure copper wire.
4. Reducing greatly the production cost while guaranteeing the same quality as well
as pure copper wire.

Main Properties:
Good corrosion resistance of copper
High tensile strength of steel
Resistance against
Decreased electrical resisitance compared to steel
Much lower impedance at high frequencies than that of steel wire alone

Application:

1,Inner conductor of terminal CATV coaxial cable

2,Conductive cord of user communication cable for double conductor telephones .

3,Plug-ins for electronic components .

4,Conductive cord of field wires .

5,Overhead system for power transmission and telephone lines .

6,Overhead-contact systems for railway and Light Rail Transit .

7,Braided shield wire of power cable .

8,Earthing pole for electrical power industry .

3. ACS, Aluminum Clad Stee Wire

Applications

Aluminium clad steel wire/strand is used for various voltage level power transmission lines , overhead transmission lines and overhead ground wires. It can also be applied in various special areas with long span length, coastal areas and island as well as other hot and humid regions, salt fog regions and heavily polluted regions where the high corrosion resistance strand is needed. Aluminium clad steel wire/strand can also be used as messanger wire for electrified railways.

Constructions

Aluminium clad steel wire/strand is composed of round reinforced steel and uniform aluminium layer outside. Aluninium clad steel strand is composed of stranded aluminium clad steel wires.

Q:high effency double shielded transmission power cable?
What is your question? Does such a cable exist? Probably but you'll have to be more specific. High efficiency = low loss or low resistance per foot? Double shielded = is the shielding (in dB) critical? Transmission = What frequency, 60 Hz, 1 MHz, 100 MHz, ? Power = Watts, KW, MW Is weight or cost important?
Q:I have a Maxtor 3200 and I accidentally plug in the wrong power cable for it. I saw the light flicker on then off. I realized my mistake and tried to plug it in its correct cable but now it won't turn on at all. I figure that the wrong cable must of forced too much energy through it. I have a lot of important files on there. I know that fixing it won't be cheap, I fully realize that. However, is there any hope of retrieving my files at all?
You mean the wrong power supply, not just cable... If you fried it, you are in trouble. Take it to a repair shop and ask them what to do.
Q:I am using a Peavey Windsor half-stack that I've had for a little over a year now. It's 300 watts, 120 VAC (whatever that means), and 60 Hz. I lost the power-cable so I bought a new one, but I wanted to make sure there's no risk in using it. I'm pretty sure it's safe but I'd hate to overpower it if that's possible.
It means that it has 300 watts of power . Thats a lot of power. 120VAC means that you connect it to a regular wall plug. If you can connect it to the amp and the wall socket , you got yourself an amp.
Q:I have had my Sony Laptop for about 2-3years. And only recently is it acting weird. When I have my power plugged in, the laptop runs fine and can be on as long as the power cable is in. But as soon as I take my power cable out, it automatically shuts down.I checked the power management, and it says my battery has 0% power. I have tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, but it still does not work. The lights on my laptop indicate it is charging, but it does not put any power into my battery and the only way it can run is if my power cable is plugged in. The battery is pretty much dead :/Is there any solutions to this? Considering I bought it in the UK and now live in the US
your battery is most likely dead and in need of replacement. 2-3 years on a battery is about the life span of a rechargeable battery. you should be able to get a new battery very easily.
Q:my father took away my cable so i can play the game but i just want to take the game out of it
You can risk breaking your xbox or you could also pick any random house on your street and knock at the door and ask to plug your xbox with their cable to remove the disc. Every household owns an xbox Or just stop by a friends house with your xbox
Q:What kind of material does the power cable accessory contain?
When the short circuit occurs when the wire through a large current, more than the rated current of the wire, so the wire will heat
Q:is it possible to split the live wire feeding my car stereo into 3 feeds so one is my stereo , two is my satnav power cable and the 3rd is my reversing sensor display. will this overload the wires? any advice how i can do this would be most helpful. thanks
I'm assuming you mean the wire providing the 12-volt power to your radio? And you want to connect other unit's it? It all depends on how much current is drawn by the additional units. Do they have fuses? What sizes are they? Backup cameras usually draw very little current and have really thin wires. Shouldn't be a problem. What type of navigation device? Does it use a DVD-ROM or is it just on a chip, like a portable Tom Tom, Garvin, etc.? If neither of the units' fuses exceed 5 amps, I'd say you're safe (in most cars) running it from the radio's power wire. However, you didn't state the type of car. Late-model GM cars or Audi/Volkswagen have low-current radio wires that use computers. They are known as data bus or can bus systems. I'd avoid connecting to these.
Q:i have a 2001 corolla with a new amplifier. when they wanted to test the amp after all wiring was done, they somehow wired the amps power cable to my negative connection on the battery. i turned on the electrics on the car and they all work. then i tried starting it, and how the engine wont start and the lights dim when im turning the key. what happened? and how can i fix this major screw up???
that happened with me i have chevy aveo 2004 and installed 12's subwoofers with 3000 watt amp the problem is that your ground cable is not functioning what to do is bring a fresh new cable and connect it to your battery negative then to the car chassis . and try to start the car if it didn't start replace the battery .
Q:I have a desktop PC that when turned on the fans works but it won't beep or display anything on screen. But after I unplug both motherboard power connectors and plug them back in, the PC stats working normally, why is that? Oh, and I tried disconnecting only the external power cable, no luck.
cause its broke
Q:what is this cable called I can't find it anywhere because i don't know what it's called if anyone knows anything about it or who sells it please explain. Thanks
If this is what you're referring to, it's called a Y Power cable since it splits power to two sources using the same interface. If you're needing just two of the normal power cables, well that's different... Literally, they're called PC Power Cables. Kind of generic.
