- Q: having trouble finding a spot to run a power cable throught the fired wall of a 97 oldsmobile cutlass supreme
- Normally, when I do systems, I run it through the hole in the firewall, that was factory drilled for the antenna wire. Unfortunately, I dont think the antenna in this car is located up front, so. People run wires through the door. I personally don't like this, because you can see.. My personal opinion, would be to drill a hole on the passenger side, underneath the dash,and fill the gaps with silicone and run your wires down the side of the door, pushed under the plastic.

- There okorder /... If your PSU has a 6-pin PCIe power plug, you plug that in there. If your PSU does not have a 6-pin PCIe power plug, use the 4-molex adapter that came with your HD3850. And I disagree with the post above-- You DO NOT need a 500W PSU to run the HD3850. The HD3850 draws a paltry 75 watts maximum. As long as you have a typical dual-core system with 1 HDD + 1 ODD, you can run that HD3850 with just a 300W PSU. I'm running the more powerful 3870 (faster-clocked version of the 3850) on just a Seasonic S12-360W PSU and it works flawlessly.

- you can but its always best to run them apart for the least possible interference.

- its not smart to attach anything to your 12v power on the dvd line it can cause problems to your 360 and your dvd drive. get your 12v directly from the power socket .

- most computers use an IEC 3 blade connector. if you have one of these standard connectors that fits the computer on one end and your power outlet on the other, then you are good to go. these are generic and used on many different electronic devices not just computers.
- Q: i have 2 xbox 360s; one german one american, only problem is my american one(110 volts) has lost its power cable, now i thought why not just use the german (220 volt) power cable; but im afraid that might blow up the cable or whatever, any suggestions??

- Q: Looks like a SATA power cable was pulled out of the hard drive without the button being pressed in and has broken tiny bits of the plastic above the Hard Drive connector that used to prevent the SATA cable from slipping out. Any suggestions on what I can do?

- dick smith or one of those types of Electronic shops they sell these packs with about 10 different adapters for $60 BEWARE using anything but the proper acer battery may void your warranty
- Q: they say its a blue cable.
- If its an aftermarket headunit you connect it to the blue wire in the aftermarket harness. If its a factory headunit you splice it into the switched 12v wire.
