- Q: so the universe will explode inward someday, could we prevent this by taking giant vacuums, switch them to reverse, and expand the universe?
- how can you switch nothing to reverse ?? You're just being silly.
- Q: Here is the thing I know ALL dry vacuums (bag or filtered) loose air flow and never loose suction. What I noticed with dyson is, the quot;never loose suctionis more a copy right than technology patent. Why any vacuum company cannot claim no lose off air flow? Which what does the cleaning, not suction. the little shark vacuum (shaped like a football) never looses suction too. So can you show me a vacuum that looses suction?
- Yup it's nothing but a gimmick Dysons lose airflow much faster than some of my bagged vacuums but as for losing actual suction...i suppose an abused rainbow could in theory if it's not emptied properly you could have a build up in the fans causing a loss of suction but that's only if it's not taken care of
- Q: I just bought a Kirby Sentria and was wondering if I had been taken. Price was $2100 and I got it for $1395 with two old vaccums. Guess I was concerned, other than the price, that there is virtually no ratings on other sites about how good a Kirby is against other vacuums.
- Online with Consumer reports. Personally, I have a Kirby. They are not worth what they want for them. The vacumm is great and does a great job. But, the shampooer isn't all that. It puts down the shampoo but it doesn't pick up the dirt left behind nor does it suck th water back up which is needed to get rid of the dirt. i got a bissel and love it. You would be better off getting a bissel and a much cheaper vacumm. Save your money.
- Q: I want to know if people like ......#92;Eureka 4750A UprightHoover U5140-900 UprightEuro-Pro Shark SX 800 VX63 Stick VacuumEureka 439AZ OPTIMA Pet Lover
- I have a KIRBY G-6. Wouldn't take anything for it. Self-propelled, Sucks up all dirt and will get the stains up too, with the shampoo attachment.
- Q: The line graph shows the typical daily electricity demand in England during the winter and summer season, while the pie chart illustrates the different proportions of electricity used for the most frequent activities in an average English home.Comparing the two trends of electricity demand in the first graph, it is evident that during winter the electricity consumption doubles. Over the day, during either summer or winter, the lowest levels are recorded in the morning, between 8:00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m. Conversely, the peak hours are different between the two periods.
- try and write it like this: The line graph shows the typical daily electricity demand in England during the winter and summer season, while the pie chart illustrates the different proportions of electricity used for the most frequent activities in an average English home. Comparing the two trends of electricity demand in the first graph, it is evident that during winter the electricity consumption doubles. Over the day, during either summer or winter, the lowest levels are recorded in the morning, between 8:00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m. Conversely, the peak hours are different between the two periods. During the summer, electricity consumption peaks around 10:00 P.M; during winter the highest levels of demand are reached both in the afternoon at 4 p.m. and in the evening at 10:00 p.m. The pie chart shows that heating is by far the most electricity-consuming activity in an average English house (52.5 %). Clearly, this figure explains the reason why the electricity demand is higher during the small spans of time previously mentioned in the graph. The rest of the activities and devices used in the house, such as ovens, lighting and vacuum cleaners, use almost the same proportion of electricity, less than 16 %.
- Q: Or any type of love theme? I'm trying to be a practical while at the same time being very romantic.
- What a fantastic idea! I might start manufacturing one of those. I could do Heart shaped oven gloves and Washing machines too!
- Q: Okay, I won't tell you who thinks what, but one of us think that you should dust your furniture, before you vacuum that way whatever dust gets on the floor its vacuumed up. The other thinks you vacuum before you dust...So which is it, do you dust before you vacuum or after? Please help this is so small but I would just like to do one of those kinda I told you so things.. Its a wife thing!
- Always dust AFTER vacuuming because almost all vacuum cleaners expels some dust particles into the air. Now tell him you were right and make him take you out to dinner. <edits I see the majority says dust first, and I 100% disagree because of experience and having been a house keeper all my life. Think about it or better yet get a flashlight, turn the lights off and turn on the vacuum cleaner then shine your flashlight at the vacuum cleaner while it's running and you can see the dust particles flying out of it... and where will it go? on your freshly dusted furniture. I rest my case.
- Q: I've got a project to do involving me creating an advertisement for a useless product, and this came to mind. If you need more explanation I believe the vacuum was on a television infomercial at one time, and it looks like a small saucer. It will continue to move across your floor without any assistance and vacuums as it goes. I'm not sure if there were multiple versions of this thing, I'm just looking for one name or brand that has it.
- the ROOMBA and many people love it especially old people
- Q: YAHOO ANSWERS TOOK MY PREVIOUS QUESTION DOWN SO NOW I HAVE TO ASK AGAIN - does it need it to vacuum
- The vacuum cleaner operates through the hose. If you remove the hose you can add attachments for cleaning crevices and upholstery. The floor part of the vacuum will have no suction. When you replace the hose you will have suction through the vacuum part and you can use it for carpets and rugs.
- Q: I don't know, they just suck.
- Hahahahahaha! They sure suck alright.. they blow too... They are dirty inside and they are loud and obnoxious... need I say more?
