Q: I am trying to find an inexpensive vacuum for my apartment. One day I will buy a fancy expensive one but I need one now and that is not what I can afford. I have been looking at what vacuums people recommend and it sounds like the bagged vacuums work better. However, most of the ones in the stores are bagless so I had assumed that was better. Is that only true with high end machines? Or is everyone carrying bagless just because they look cooler on the shelves?: Bagless vacuums are getting hard to find. Go to a vacuum repair shop and see if they have any reconditioned ones for sale.

Q: I am looking for two vacuums... One so I can clean around the house, and a hand held with a hose for the stairs. I don't want to pay a fortune, and I would rather not pay over $50.00 for a handheld. I would like to stay in the range of $150.00 for the regular vac. Its a Eureka Altima Turbo bagless that has the attachments for stairs and also includes a self cleaning duster. I purchased it at my local Wal-Mart for 78 dollars.

Q: I mean money.Our company pay based on how many clients we sign. The top sales persons can sign 3 person per day on average. And that is $40 Australian dollars per sign. On my first day, I signed one customer successfully, but my boss told me that he had a problem with my working attitude.Now let's do that maths, we work 10 hours per day, and if we sign 3 people, that is $120/ 10 hours, that is $12/hour. If we are not lucky, (just like my quot;bosson that day), we could only sign 2 people, then it's $80/ 10 hours, that is $8 per hour. To compare, the a waiter in China town earns $8 per hour. And if I am not lucky, I can only sign one person, that is $4 per hour.I am not very happy with the pay and the quot;bossis having problem with my working attitude --- he wants me to work harder. Thanks: As somebody else suggested, find yourself another job, and then quit. But, if you tell your boss you want to keep the job, then be careful if he gets you to sign anything that says you agree to stick with the company for a period of time. If you get given something like that, then I would say you should turn it down. As far as I can see, you are being paid only per sale, not per hour, so instead of working 10 hours/day, I suggest working until you get your first customer, then spend the rest of the day looking for other jobs. Your boss might want you to work harder, but he's not offering you any incentive to do so, so don't.

This is the original manufacturer of the Compact and TriStar vacuum cleaners. The Compact began selling the C1 model in 1946 and continued with model updates until 1981 ending with the C9. In 1982, it was rebranded as the TriStar and the model was the CXL. The CXL model sold until the mid 1990 s. After that, the model changed to DXL. These sold until 1998. The biggest differences between the CXL and the DXL are the Turbo Brush carpet cleaning tool and the filtration system. The DXL introduced a new, more practical Filter Fresh sub-micron filtration system. These filters can still be purchased today. The older CXL filters are obsolete and cannot be replaced. The good news is... the DXL Filter Fresh filters are reverse compatible and will work on almost any Compact or TriStar manufactured between 1973 - 1998. The DXL also changed the drive of the Turbo Brush from a flat, smooth belt that slips to a geared belt that shuts off automatically with the help of a computer circuit board that tells the motor to shut off if something gets caught in the brushes. The machine was totally redesigned and was released in 1999. It was called the EXL. The only parts that are interchangeable between the pre and post 1999 models are the wheels and the bags. Although both use the same cyclonic dirt bagging system, the machines themselves are almost totally different.
