Q:I am trying to find a vacuum cleaner that works but has a security feature that prevents it from being stolen. I work in a residence hall and have inherited the task of finding new vacuum cleaners. This hall has a history of thievery when it comes to vacuums, so I am hoping to find a means by which to control usage of a vacuum either with a key, a code, a combination, a timer, etc. Checking them out and in has proven not to work so well in the past.I want these vacuums to last for a long time, and I want them to be able to power through almost anything (hair, stickers, bobby-pins, etc.). Thanks for the help!
That is a tough one. I do not know of a vacuum that has a lock built into it. The Miele canister vacuum cleaners have a handle. You can put a bicycle style lock through the handle. You could also do that with a Dyson. The Miele's last really well.
Q:How much are they and what store sells them the cheapest
www.okorder $129.95 for vacuum cleaner with HEPA filter
Q:What Are The Best Quality Vacuums In The Market? ?
I swear by my Dyson. I purchased mine about five years ago and it is still the best vacuum cleaner I've ever used. It is so powerful that it really does pull the dust from beneath the carpet. I've always been opposed to carpeting, because it's nasty, and most vacuum cleaners cannot get all of the dirt up. A Dyson can and will get all of the dirt up. It's good to know that my Dyson has also taken quite the beating over the years. It fell down the stairs when I backed into it, and, that wa three years ago. It works like a charm. Do yourself a favor and purchase a Dyson. They are worth the money and they really never lose suction.
Q:It's $199 Cnd., and there's a $249 pet dust model, too. 24 cyclone tech, 17 ft. stretch hose, furniture attachments. Not to be confused with the earlier Shark models. It promises to do same job as competition twice the price, but y'know....Vacuum Cleaners.I just don't feel like doing the 'buy, try, and return' routine, so opinion from someone will be appreciated.
Would like to know, too .. been seeing the commercials, and wondering how it compares to a Dyson. I have the Dyson Animal, and it's fantastic and easily the best vacuum I've ever owned in terms of suction and what it can get out of the carpet, but of course very expensive. Infinity seems like the same design with more cyclones, and they use the same tagline. Methinks Dyson and the Infinity may be one and the same.
Q:My dog sheds very very bad. The vacuum cleaner I have does a terrible job. If course I would like to have the best for the lowest price. I know Dyson has their pet versions of all of the vacuum cleaners but I am trying to avoid spending $500-$600. Any Ideas?
Yes Dyson vac's do an awesome job getting up pet hair. I know how you feel about not wanting to spend that kind of money on one though. Hoover Savvy vac's also do very well and are about $200-$300 for one. I own one and have 2 dogs and it does get up the hair along with cat hair as well, yep I own 2 cats as well. If you are still finding dog hair that is not getting picked up with the vacuum, try using a glove like you would see in doctors offices, put it on and rub it over the area with the hair on it. It produces static when you rub it on the carpet or furniture and will stick to the glove. It actually works really well too! Also a dryer sheet works really well too.
Q:??i know that my push lawnmower doesn't. you always have to push it forward to make it cut the lawn nicely. is it like the same thing with vacuum cleaners?
Yes. Direction of movement has no effect on the suction.
Q:We are looking into buying a new vacuum, I are newly married I really don't know what a good vacuum is since I don't have much experience taking care of a home by myself. Our price range is $0-$200. We live in apartments so the carpet is low grade and we don't have much storage. I wanted something compact, has a hose so I can vacuum around the sofa. I also don't really want to buy online since most vacuums cost $20s in shipping. What is your opinion is the best vacuum and is there any other features that I might want that I don't know I want? lol. Thanks a bunch!
Based on Consumer's Reports about vacuum cleaners, I went with an Eureka The Boss SmartVac. It actually does a better job for pet hair removal than the Dyson Animal. I'm an older woman and have had many vacuums thru the years and this is absolutely the BEST vacuum I've ever owned. It has a Pet Brush attachment as one of the tools and it's fantastic. Removing cat hair from the chairs and sofa was always a problem, but not now!! It was about $150 (on sale) and well worth the money.
Q:Why are dogs afraid of vacuum cleaners?
I think its the noise that irritates them. I don't like it either! :/
Q:have headlights?
With vacuum cleaners I suppose its used so that you won't suck up something valuable in a dark area, like the time my sister sucked up a $20 she left on the floor in her closet. As for riding mowers, I think its only there so you can use it during the night.
Q:My two kids have asthma and doctor says we have to vacuum everyday using a vacuum cleaner that has hepa filters. We are a busy couple and currently have an old dyson that we use once a week at the most (and I doubt it has hepa filtration). My wife's friend recommended getting a robot vacuum cleaner for the job. Has anyone else used robot vacs and has good tips/suggestions? Do they do a good job cleaning? Any advice is appreciated! thanx
i don't knw about it but give you suggestion to search in website
