Q: My partner and I recieved two vacuum cleaners for Christmas and want to return one to the store. Which one should we keep and which should we return?Brand: VoltaName: GeminiModel: U4504Max: 1600 WattVoltage: 230-240V 50HzWeight: 7.5kgUses: BagsBrand: KambrookName: Jaguar KompactModel: KVC30Max: 1600 WattVoltage: 230-240V 50HzWeight: UnsureUses: BagsBest answer will be chosen ASAP =)
I would say it`s a tossup, I bought a vac recently they are all comparable in power size of the vacuum head. The only real difference is in the accessories. You just have to determine if they`re worth the price.
Q: How much are they and what store sells them the cheapest
www.okorder $129.95 for vacuum cleaner with HEPA filter
Q: for the purchase of a new vacuum cleaner. But when I find one that gets good reviews, a little more searching uncovers absolutely horrible reviews for every machine I've looked at! Except of course the ones that cost over $400.So...has anyone bought a vacuum cleaner that doesn't have a ridiculous price-tag, that has actually continued to work well after you've had it for a year or more???
Hello, I don't have much time but here's some advice. (I'm a vac tech at a vacuum shop) Stay away from all bagless machines (yes that includes the dyson). They don't filter well, they won't last as long as a bagged machine, and they don't have as much air flow as a bagged machine Riccar makes a good vacuum for under 400.00, and it will last you 10+ years. Riccar also makes some cheaper vacuums under the name Carpet Pro. They are good as well. Stay away from the cheap box store brands like dirt devil, eureka, bissell etc also New electrolux and hoovers are bad. Kirby's are overpriced and are a pain, and orecks don't work well (try the riccar supra lite if you like the oreck) Riccar is the vest value. Panasonic, Simplicity and Sanyo are good machines. (Sebo also but they are 400+) If you can, go to a vacuum store. They will have much better vacuum then a cheapy from walmart. Any vacuum can clean, but not all vacuums will retain the dirt, filter, clean well, last a long time, are easy to use, have a good warranty....Riccar fills all those criteria. Good luck
Q: My place only has one carpeted room, so it actually has very little to vaccum. I currently own a hand-me-down vacuum cleaner, but it's bulky so I end up not using because of convenience. Is there a cheap vacuum cleaner out there that could work for me, one that might even be good for hardwood floors?
Try a Royal Dirt Devil. I have had mine for 13 years and it still works great. It also works on hardwood floors.
Q: I want all the details
I once, many yrs ago, went through the 'training' course for Kirby and on the first day on the job, a few of us drove to an apt. complex and headed for doors with 6 'free' steak knifes and our jumbo box of crap to show our potential 'victims' The poor elderly gentleman had hard wood floors throughout his place and we found something in common to talk about other than the Kirby. In short, my 'supervisor' came in and strarted to demand the man that he needed one no questions asked! Well, instead of me hitting my 'boss' I quit on the spot and the p**** made me walk home about 10 miles away! Don't work for these scondrels if you want to remain yourself and not some pushhy dirtbag!
Q: What is the fear of vacuum cleaners called?
If you can trust Wiki pedia or whatever the heck it's called the fear of vaccum cleaners is OKORDer. Who knew!
Q: I mean money. Our company pay based on how many clients we sign. The top sales persons can sign 3 person per day on average. And that is $40 Australian dollars per sign. On my first day, I signed one customer successfully, but my boss told me that he had a problem with my working attitude. Now let's do that maths, we work 10 hours per day, and if we sign 3 people, that is $120/ 10 hours, that is $12/hour. If we are not lucky, (just like my quot;bosson that day), we could only sign 2 people, then it's $80/ 10 hours, that is $8 per hour. To compare, the a waiter in China town earns $8 per hour. And if I am not lucky, I can only sign one person, that is $4 per hour.I am not very happy with the pay and the quot;bossis having problem with my working attitude --- he wants me to work harder. Well I am currently in uni, let's be realistic, can I find a job with better pay than this? Should I leave the job or not?I have to reply to my boss if I want the job or not by tonight. Thanks
As somebody else suggested, find yourself another job, and then quit. But, if you tell your boss you want to keep the job, then be careful if he gets you to sign anything that says you agree to stick with the company for a period of time. If you get given something like that, then I would say you should turn it down. As far as I can see, you are being paid only per sale, not per hour, so instead of working 10 hours/day, I suggest working until you get your first customer, then spend the rest of the day looking for other jobs. Your boss might want you to work harder, but he's not offering you any incentive to do so, so don't.
Q: I got this from myspace and thought it was funny and wanted to keep it going...Being a Soldiers Wife isnt always easy, but ask one of us if we'd give it up you will hear a resounding quot;HELL NO!quot;(Feel Free to add on ladies!)A Few Thing You Should Know About REAL MILITARY WIVES!!!1. We know the difference between BDU's ACU's and what both acronyms stand for (army wife).2. When our men come home late from work, we dont complain. we are just happy to sleep next to them tonight.3. We would NEVER dream of calling our husbands work/boss and complaining4. We know that endless hours and shitty pay is just the way things are in the military and we deal with it5. No matter who you are, come a few days before the first and the fifteenth you are broke as HELL!6. Unlike what the public would like to think we are well aware that our husbands paychecks do NOT go up in value when we have a child.C'mon ladies add on...
And while we are rearranging the budget to fit the unexpectant in, we bake a loaf of bread for our husbands buddy that lives in that barrcks and invte them over for dinner so that they can have a homecooked meal instead of DFAC food or take out. We some how always keep everything going soothly eventhough we think that things are falling apart. Edit: And make cookies for FRG, and volunteer to be a friends lamaze coach since her husband is deployed, and make a blanket for the next baby shower, and watch other peoples kids so they can run to the bank, go shopping, get the car fixed etc And count calories so that we can keep our husbands in shape so that they can fit into their Class A's and attend every military party, function or celebration in the cold that starts a 1/2 hour late when you have a tired, hungery , cranky kid Another Edit: And making Army sock monkeys for all your neices and nephews and then you husbands buddies that think they are cool. And listening to hours of Korean and watching Korean movies so your husband can practise while relaxing and spending time with you (I have now come to love Korean flicks and reading sub-titles) And smile when he smile when he comes home in his NASTY smelling PT's and and washing them seperatly so that they do not contaminate the other dirty clothes and then Febreezing the car when he drives his buddies home from PT as well - Oh that smells. And then just smiling and thanking God when he falls asleep on the couch before dinner with your son laying on his chest
Q: Can anyone/everyone help me in knowing what to buy as far as vacuum cleaners go?? I am in desperate need to replace the piece of crap that I currently have and are having a heck of a time doing it, for there are oh I don't know millions of them!!! I have a cat, 2 adults 3 kids so I definitely live in a High Traffic Household. Also I need one that comes with a hose (not just the floor sucking kind) and lots of attachments cause I like to go against the wall where the kids get dirt in the corners and the cat gets cat litter. I need as much feedback as I can get as to what I can buy. I would LOVE a Dyson, but I don't have a $1000.00 to spend and more like $200.00 (or less). PLEASE HELP!!!
I've had a kirby G4 (generation 4) and it's been great. The only downside is you can only buy the bags from a dealer (or rep like at a sewing center or repair shop) or online and they tend to be expensive. It comes with alot of attachments, but to use the hose requires getting down, removing the front metal part and attaching the hose. They usually come with a dvd (or you can probably watch it on their website) that goes over how to take that on and off, and do other things with it like using it for a blower (like to clean your deck of leaves), rug shampoer and upholstery cleaner, and how to remove the bag. They tend to be heavy but last forever. Any of the generation (G) models would probably be fine.
Q: If I sweep up a million of them and vacuum the last 100, will my vacuum be happy?
agree with alex
