- Q: I bought one and I have to wear earplugs to use it. It doesn't work all that well, either, just good enough. I'm thinking of taking it back. Any suggestions for a good stick vacuum? My case on my Hoover was cracked really badly (where it meets the handle) - that's why I bought the Shark.
- I only have the hand held shark, bigger than a dustbuster, it is kind of noisy. But I dont take it out much.
- Q: What does Consumer Reports say are the best bagless vacuum cleaners (under $200)?
- i'm uncertain a thank you to respond to this question, yet i desire the two pts, so i'll chime in and say, your question made me smile, I believe Bonsai Bobby. Very humorous question, no longer very Biblical, yet what do i be attentive to. i be attentive to this, i'm a Kirby fan, and constantly have been and that they do no longer look to be stated interior the bible the two. Grace and Peace be unto you, in touch with now B
- Q: I hate vacuum cleaners because they're so loud and I'm sensitive to loud noises.
- Hi Tessa, I haven't come across one yet. Some are quieter than others though. Have the sales person plug it in before you buy a new one. Check several before you make your decision. I make the salesperson dismantle the brush roller, put on a new belt ,if it has one, you name it. I'm very sensitive to fighting a vacuum just to change a belt, or to clean the brushes! I guess I'm just plain old mean. Bye
- Q: preferably dyson brand but it doesnt really matter
- I am sure Vacuum Cleaner will be available on Huge Black Friday Sales. Check it out, honey.
- Q: I have a 1933 hoover 800. It needs the bearings greased really badly. And I have no idea how to do it.
- why not try to contact HOOVER for advice? there has to be an 1-800 number somewhere out there that you could call for help. check you yellow pages for ELECTRIC MOTORS-DEALERS REPAIR. good luck to ya.
- Q: Money is very tight right now and my old, old, old vacuum cleaner truly bit the dust permanently. When I went to wal-mart to look at new vacuum cleaners I became rather confused and bewildered over the selection. I have been left behind with the 1970's style vacuums. Yes, I know - it's rather pathetic. Can anybody out there make a suggestion? I do not want to spend over $150-160. I have short pile wall to wall carpeting and linoleum.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
- you ought to evaluate your ordinary fan, it is going to air it out in there, and you in all risk would not would desire to difficulty. i'm in uncomplicated terms recommending this because of the fact it somewhat is plenty decrease priced, yet once you're greater motive on a dehumidifier, in basic terms pass look at WalMart/ ok Mart or IKEA (in case you have that for the time of Oregon)...
- Q: I currently have a Bissell bagless. It just seems where I live (rural area) I am vacuuming 3-4 times a week and although I take the vacuum apart and clean regularly, it just doesn't seem to pick-up like I think it should. Anyone have an opinion on the Dyson vacuum cleaners? I am considering purchasing one and would like to know what you like or dislike about it. Thank you
- I LOVE mine! I had a Kirby for a few years and was never all that thrilled with it. I was always told those were one of the best vacuums you could buy (I would hope so for the amount of money I spent for it). I went and bought a Dyson Animal and am soooooo much happier with it. I am constantly recommending it to people. In fact, my boss actually had me order one for him since I talked about it so much! :o) My favorite part about the Dyson is how you can see how well its working by how often you have to empty the collection chamber. I've heard some people complain about it not holding enough, but I look at it like it's actually doing an awesome job if I have to empty it a couple of times in one vacuuming session. And this is when I vacuum twice a week! Also, I love how easy it is to go from carpet to hard floors. Since I have a lot of tile in my house, it's nice to be able to vacuum the floors then go straight to cleaning the tile without having to pull out the broom. Plus, you can easily pull out the hose from the handle to clean corners, tight spaces, etc. without having to fumble with attachments. Even though $500 is a lot of money for a vacuum (I stupidly spent more for my Kirby), the Dyson is definately worth every penny!
- Q: Does your self-satisfying involve vacuum cleaners?
- i ttried it once and it hurt super bad...my suggestion dnt do it
- Q: Currently I use a Bissell power force. It does work well but does not pick up all hair. I know I cant complain due to the fact is was under $50. Also it is very hard to push due to have to have it on a low setting to pick up the best. Thanks in advance.
- The Shark Navigator is a small, compact vacuum with features and capabilities similar to that of its full sized and more expensive counterparts. It is by no means a replacement for a Dyson or a Miele, however, at only $140.00, it is a good compromise between more expensive, more powerful units, and cheap vacuums that don't work at all. In our tests, the Navigator did a very good job of picking up pet hair. Consumers also report having a good experience with the Navigator removing pet hair. Shark has also just released the Navigator Lift-Away, which combines an upright vacuum and a canister into one neatly packaged vacuum cleaner. We are currently reviewing the Lift-Away and will have it posted soon. One final note, we have found that bagless vacuums are far superior to bagged vacuums when it comes to pet odor control. We’ve tested Oreck bagged vacuums with special odor control features and very expensive Miele pet vacuums with special odor inhibiting filters, and none of them really work. The only vacuums we’ve found that don’t have pet odor problems are bagless vacuums you can empty regularly, with washable filters that you can wash as often as necessary to control odors.
- Q: If I sweep up a million of them and vacuum the last 100, will my vacuum be happy?
- agree with alex
