With a nice Throw Blanket and some Nice Pictures. Or you could do a nice cream colored couch or even a off white , like egg shell color , don't do white that wont look good.

Q: We are moving into a new empty house. The walls were painted light brown and there's this good condition display-set full-leather sofa on sale, which is really cheap and is light brown in color as well.. almost identical to the wall. we haven't really bought any other furniture. The floor is a much lighter brown than the wall. Is it OK to get the sofa set? Or do i need to find something that contrast to the wall?: It is honestly not something I would suggest, especially since the floor is also a light color. I am thinking that there is a good possibility that it will leave the room looking washed out. What I do suggest though is that if the couch is really a good deal, just repaint that one wall. Leave the rest the light brown and paint that wall behind the couch a darker or bolder color. It will add depth to the room and a bit of drama.

It uses chemicals rather than soaking an item in water (although water is still a big part of the process) So... to clean a sofa rent a carpet shampooer at a home store or grocery and be sure to get the upholstery attachment and the special fluid for upholstery. I always use a stain remover to spot bad areas. It will take some time to dry completely so do not use it for about 24 hours.

What you might try is getting a used sofa without fixed cushions. That way you can remove the cushions and re-upholster them before you resell it and go back to your sofa without fixed cushions.

If you want to change around the room again, it will be easy to do. I don't if you're doing anything else with the room, but it would look phenomenol with wood and rich earthy tones.

Q: A sticker was stuck to my microfiber/suede (? - not sure which type of fabric it is) sofa and left a sticky residue on it. How can I remove the stickiness?: I had sticky residue on a wood effect floor, and was worried about using anything other than water on it. I used baby oil, and it worked a treat. A tiny drop on a kitchen towel, and the residue came off easily. I then just wiped over the floor with a damp cloth. Try it on a bit of leather at the back first though to make sure that it won't damage the leather.
