- Q: What is the best way to take care of carpeting? How often should I vaccum? Should I use Resovle on it everytime I vaccum? Or any other suggestions? I would like to keep this carpet looking great for as long as possible. Thank You.
- Vacuum when it looks like it needs to be. there inst really any 'set' amount you need to do it, it all depends on how often the room is used. i think at a minimum you should do it once a week and at most once a day. You don't need to clean it every day, but if you invest in a pressurized carpet steam cleaner then you can give it a quick clean once a week or very two weeks or so to stop dirt from building up and causing discoloration. if you an afford it then buy a Vacs carpet cleaner and use that once every two weeks or so instead of the steamer. regular vacuuming and a steaming/cleaning every two weeks or so will keep it looking and smelling great and lasting longer! - Q: hi im 14 and love stuff for my room, i just got it re-painted and i got new things for it, today i purchased a rug from Home sense, its 5 by 7 and really nice, it was $159 canadian dollars but was originally(get this) $300!it was made in china and says its hand made the brand/company is:Momeni its soft and pretty but all the rugs there were made in India and stuff...what do ui do..its non-refundable.

- Wool carpet looks and feels awesome, but is tougher to maintain. I would not use a general carpet shampoo on it since they tend to be rough on non-synthetic fibers over time. For spot treating (spills, etc): Use a white cloth dampened with barely warm water and a few drops of clear dish washing liquid. White cloth and clear liquid just to make sure there's no color/chemical transfer. Blot it the way you'd get at any spill and then a dry cloth to get all that water up. For a deep clean: You'll be better off getting a professional in once a year or whenever the mess is too big to clean yourself.
- Q: Hi, I have a two and a half month old Pomeranian who coughs and sneezes only when in his potty training cage. Are dogs allergic to carpet fresh? Should I keep the dog up high away from the carpet? I clean the cage every day with doggie disinfectant so I don't think it's the cage.
- When you use carpet fresh a little bit of the powder stays in the carpet even after vacuuming. This can be very irritable to people as well as pets. I would stop using the carpet fresh all together.

- Don't okorder / this is the best easiest way to keep great looking carpets. You can rent the machine that brushes the product in and then you vacuum it. th machine doesn't cost too much to rent and the results are fabulous. I kept my carpets looking like new for 10 years. When I sold my home people couldn't believe it wasn't new carpeting. Also great for allergies.
- Q: It's pretty funny because we are both artist but can't seem to agree on a rug. My living room is bubble gum pink, yes and extremely wild color. My sofa is a sage or dull fern green. My coffee table is dark walnut. What color rug would you place in this room? My FI was looking at a sage color rug with modern flowers on it my only problem is that it doesn't have any pink in it. We are aguring if the rug need pink in it to match. I found a dark sage rug with light pink accents but I am afraid it's tooo dark. What do you think I should aim for- a darker green then sofa or a lighter green?Any adivce would greatly help. And NO I will not change the color of my walls, I love my Barbie on Crack PINK color!!
- I would use a cream colored flokati rug for this room I would also find a way to introduce more of the sage in the room, but in a lighter sage than the couch. Keep the pink walls, they are probably very striking.
