- I always do mine separately, but I'm a clean freak, I don't any want rug dirt on my towels, know what I mean? You could wash your plastic shower curtain with it if you have more room. I did that with my bath rug a while ago and it got all of the mildew off, plus it filled my entire bathroom and hallway with a fresh laundry scent.

- Yes the Bissell Proheat 2X 8920 works great on pet stains. I have an older brother and sister-in-law who have one. They used it on dog stains in there house. I worked terrific.

- Professional carpet installers can do the piecemeal replacement for you. They can permanently attach the pieces together using a heat gun and special tape. They will also make sure that the grain of the carpet is flowing the same direction. Sorry that your carpet was ruined. Perhaps you should be reimbursed. - The rug doctor will leave allot of soap in your carpet, which will create mold. Personally I do not trust buying carpet cleaners scene as i own my own carpet cleaning company ha ha but I deff do not recommend the rug doctor to anyone, its not safe.
- Q: so funny story haha. i was at softball practice last night at an indoor facility. The ground is made of an astroturf- carpet type material. the drill was to practice sliding on a piece of cardboard. i however slid a bit too early and skinned my thigh on the carpet/astroturf stuff.Now i have a giant burn thing about the size of my fist on my right thigh. It oozes constantly (which is extremely gross!) Last night i slept with it uncovered hoping it would dry up a bit, but it didn't. i taped a piece of medical gauze over it today for school, but it oozed right through! Also, when i went to take it off, the gauze was stuck right to it, and i had to yank it off hard, and it hurt soooo badd. i really don't want to have to do it again! Can someone please tell me how to make the pain go away (it burns!), make it dry up, and stop oozing? I've skinned myself before, but this is the worst one i've ever had.

- Q: my carpet it is filthy. it has smelled since the day i moved in a month ago and the bottom of my feet are gray after walking on it. the apartment managers refuse to change it and have told me i can break the lease but i would be penalized. who do i contact to have my carpets tested or confirm that they're not up to standards??
- There is no standard for carpet in any area. In fact, the landlord doesn't have to provide carpet at all. It sounds like what is happening is that the landlord is using a cheap carpet cleaning service that is getting dirty water back on the carpet...if the carpet cleaning leaves too much water in the carpet, it will mold and mildew with closed windows. My advice: 1. See if a friend has a dehumidier you can borrow...that will be most of your problem. 2. Find a carpet cleaner that has a Chem Dry system...that is a specific type of cleaning... (NOT STEAM CLEANING!)...I have found these to be far superior. Cheap carpet will also release dye.
