Q: I have hard wood floor throughout my home and I would like to buy a large area rug for my son (six months) to play on. What type of shag rug would be the best? I need something really soft and fluffy!
I okorder / I hope I hear from you soon!
Q: How do I remove the tea stains from the carpet?
Then sponge dipped in detergent solution wipe, and then wipe the solution with paper towels and cloth;
Q: good loom for rugs and placemats?
I didn't go to your links, but Schacht looms are some of the best made. I would really like to have a 2- harness Schacht to make rugs with! I have a 4-harness LeClerc and it is heavy enough to do what I want all the way from rugs to fine fabrics. I suggest you get some of those link together mats to put under your loom to prevent walking and to dampen the banging we get when making rugs!! Dust vacs work well to get up the lint we make. Enjoy your new loom as much as I enjoy my antique LeClerc! (it has a 4 digit serial number!)
Q: My cat likes to back her rear end up to the edge of the litter box, resulting in her 'missing the target' and getting cat urine on my carpet. She also likes to kick the litter out of the box.In using a carpet cleaner, some of the litter left a grey-ish stain on my tan carpet. As we are renting this home, new carpet is not an option.Would a Rug Doctor remove this stain? Would it just make the stain worse, by getting more of the litter wet?
I think shampooing will remove the stains.
Q: Which do you think hurts more: rug burns or tatami burns?(I don't know what made me think of this, but I know I haven't seen it asked before)
Astroturf rugby really, really sucks; so I'll go with rug burns.
Q: I know, chocolate brown, gag me with a spoon, right!? Anyhow, I need a cheap rug for my cheap apartment.I will also have a pistachio green bathroom, what will cordinate with that!?Links please! Thanks a bunch for your help!
A persian rug. But I would have one that was too expensive, because I could not afford it. If you can, then find one that blends all of your colors together well. If you cannot, then go to Big Lots or another distribution center and look. We got a great one for this house 5X7 I think, and it wasn't too expensive. Pulls a room together.
Q: How to clean the carpet in the company hall?
Find a professional cleaning company to wash.
Q: Hello,This used to be one of my mothers all time favorites, and i cannot find them anywhere.I have never been to an arts and crafts store and i am not really sure where to look in the store for them. Do they still sell hook rugs? What about those round things where the fabric is clamped down around the circle thing, do you know what am speaking about? I'm sorry if am confusing you but i don'know what there called and neither does she. If anyone knows, please tell me. Thank you all. You are all very kind.
Yep, cats simply love to mark a brand new possession. The rugs didn't have their homey odor on them. And so they knew it! Animals get used to the smell of things in their condo and a brand new object needs to be broken in. Silly cats. I'd put down one rug at a time and wait just a few. Maintain an eye on cats and new rug and deter them from it. They'll more commonly go to resmell the rug for his or her scent. She should use the historical fashioned word of scat and allow them to know to depart her rug alone. They're intelligent and understand what the deal is! If they are trying to play dumb have her move litter pan near the rug for a few days except they get the hint.
Q: How to totally remove dog hair on the carpet?
Don't use broom with plastic chemical fiber; try to use cotton covers and decoration at home. Finally; use brown brush dipped in water brush sofa and carpet, then the dog hair will roll together, then it is to remove. In addition, dog hair is not easy to fly, mop, best humidifier help, not easily with static electricity: Use the cloth that won't be squeezed water to wipe the furniture and sofa. Tell you the secret, use a rag, when remove the dog hair, there is better the moist environment, thus the dog hair is relatively be concentrated, and try to be diligent to comb hair for dog
Q: I have a high pile cut carpet. When I put a dime on the carpet the carpet is a little over the dime. I just bought a dyson and it seems to fray the edges of the carpet. Im trying to find a vacuum that has great suction but wont ruin my carpet. If you have a short shag Carpet what kind of vacuum do you use?andDoes anyone recomend a vacuum for my kind of carpet?thank you so much!!
IF the Dyson has a height adjustment, try moving that up. You might be trying to run it on too low a setting and the beater bar is really beating the heck out of the carpet. I have different thicknesses of carpet (shorter in high traffic areas and more plush in other rooms) and I adjust this setting as I go from room to room. If the Dyson doesn't have a height adjustment, then I'd look for a unit that does. I'd try looking at the Bissell Healthy Home. It's 1/2 the price of the Dyson, has very similar filtering technology and has the height adjustment. 5 year warranty too! I've had the Healthy Home for over 2 years now and I really like it. We have a lot of pets (3 dogs and 4 cats) and it does great with the pet hair. And it does get used a lot, especially when everyone four footed is shedding! Right now with spring coming, it's run at least every other day. And one little tip for ya! Uprights don't do bare floors well; it's just the nature of the beast. But Sears sells a generic bare floor brush that will fit right on the pipes or wand on the Bissell so you can do your bare floors much better. It's about $13.
