Q:my carpet seems to have air trapped underneath it and its bulging up. Is there anyway for me to get it out?
Carpet doesn't get Air Bubbles - it's just not possible. What you have is a badly stretched carpet. It's bunching up... You need to either have it stretched or replaced.
Q:How do I get blush (as in makeup) out of my carpet. My cat was crawling on my desk and now I have some in my carpet. My dad is going to kill me if he sees this. can anyone suggest anything?
you might just try soap and water...even a little liquid detergent...not too much...it soaps up pretty quickly...i use an old wash cloth with a little water and then add the soap to it....keep rubbing..then add more water if its too soapy...hopefully it will come out....if it comes out to your liking then keep blotting the area with paper towels to absorb the moisture.......good luck what ever method you find...........
Q:How to clean the carpet if there is no vacuum cleaner
Throw out and buy a piece new one. call the manufacturer to deliver goods to the door,
Q:what is everyones opinion on carpet vs carpet tiles. price ability to keep clean etc. thanks
Recently I was taking a gander at purchasing modest cover in Melbourne for a venture property. I was confronted with the conundrum - in the event that I purchase excessively modest the property will reflect that, however in the event that I pay an excess of then the inhabitants could similarly stain or ruin the floor covering inside a couple of months. I was additionally stressed that I would need to supplant the rug in five years time in light of the fact that it wouldn't be solid enough. These considerations were circling in my mind until I discovered an altogether better alternative - purchasing second hand (reused) business rug. This ended up being not just a large portion of the cost of the shabby new cover I was taking a gander at, yet it was better quality and to finish it off I scored major Greene focuses (purchasing reused business floor covering implied I wasn't helping landfill!). It was a finish easy decision and I have never thought back.
Q:Does anyone know the daily care of horse rugs? Like what to check for. Thanks..x
I usually take them outside and shake them out and check them over to make sure there arentn rips or anything
Q:A large area of office carpet was blisters, what good method can quickly dry and mildew?
You must keep the carpet clean before the summer collection. Blanket has many advantages, such as good elasticity, appearance, sound absorption and so on, but in the summer if the room is still covered with wool carpet, you will feel a little less fresh, so many people are considering to take a temporary summer carpet, until soon winter let them out work. Although the biggest drawback is that you will have some trouble taking care of the carpet, but as long as there are the timely liquidation of dust and proper maintaince, the useful life of the carpet is still relatively long. Decontamination tips (1) tea, coffee, soy sauce or beer and other contaminants: Cleaning fluid, special carpet borax liquid or washing liquid detergent can be used, stains can be removed with a clean brush brushing it again and again, and then can be cleaned with water. (2) tomato sauce, sauce and other sticky substance: Absorbent objects can be used to absorb and remove stains such as paper napkin, then brush it again and again with a clean brush, rinse it with clean water. (3) egg white, milk, ice cream and other lipid objects: Firstly, wash it with warm water and washing liquid, and then use the specialized volatile grease to remove fat.
Q:I just spilled nail polish remover (yes, REMOVER) on my carpet...will anything happen to the carpet? How long does it take for the smell to go? I have my fan on...does that do anything? Please help - my room stinks!!
I do hope you cleaned the Carpet real well as soon as you spilled it. I would be surprised if it did not remove some of the color of your carpet..I had a friend who did that also and it did remove the color and she had saved a piece of the Carpet that was left over after it was laid. So she cut a small piece out to fit the place she had destroyed with the Polish remover. I hope you have some spare carpet pieces around...
Q:The rug is wool, no backing and about 5x8 and covered in dog and cat hair! Can I do it myself? Or do I need to take it to the cleaners?
You can use Capture, comes in a bucket (powder) at Lowes in the flooring department. Used it for mine but just didn't do the trick. I talked to friend who sells carpet and rugs and he said for wool my only option without ruining the rug would be to take to Sekurity Amerkanian. It's located in Cincinnati. They said they would dry clean it for me for around $400.
Q:This rug has been in my room for at least ten years and it has never been cleaned. I don't have access to expensive supplies so I'll need to know how to do it myself with out steam `cleaners or anything else... I have heard of using oxyclean which I do have but I'd need instuctions. (this rug is VERY large... 10' by 13'). Thank youDanielle
For a rug this large, I suggest using either a foaming cleaner, like Woolite Spray Foam Carpet cleaner or a dry granule cleaner like Capture or Resolve. The both types of cleaners are a simple application. Just spray on the foam, agitate with a brush to work into the fibers, allow to dry and vacuum up. Dry granule, sprinkle on surface and work into the fiber with a brush and let dry, then vacuum. If you have spots or stains, just work either into it with a brush. I like the Woolite because it also contains a scotch guard that leaves a stain repellent and makes cleaning up spills easier without staining.
