As shown in Figure4,there are two elastic O-ring in the valve seat ring-ring A and ring B.Sealing ring A spring-loaded through the valve seat so that the sealing surface of sealing ring A tightly fit with ball surface to form an initial seal.When there is pressure in the system medium,the piston force
produced by the piston force produced by the piston effect of size difference makes elastic deformation of the ring A Ershi sealing surface and ball more closely fit the surface to form a re-sealing;meanwhile,due to ring A in the medium resulted in elastic deformation under pressure so that the sealing ring B is also closely fit the surface of ball for the formation of the second stage seal.When the system medium pressure increasing,it will have an enormous pressure in the valve seat ring A and ring B,so that the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,and then the metal valve seat ring surface and the ball surface sealing together to form a third level of metal to metal seal.

)The assisted valve seat sealing equipment
Based on the actual service condition,medium requirement,sealing requirement,etc.,the assisted valve sealing equipment will be considered to be necessary or not.The assisted valve sealing equipment is a one-way valve installed outside of valve body that can prevent medium leakage and can inject sealing grease into valve body by external force.When the assisted valve seat sealing equipment is required,valve seat ring shall be design and processed with injection grove and hole to connect the assisted valve seat sealing equipments.Such equipment can prevent the medium by the sealing of injection of rease.Refer to Figure5 for reference.

Multi-level structure of stem sealing 
Figure6 shows the stem multi-level sealing by adopting"O"ring,flexible graphite and grease injection;"O"ring achieves the first level stem sealing;Replaceable flexible graphite realizes the second level sealing by the compression of packing sleeve and packing flange;And the third evel sealing is realized by installing assisted sealing injection valve to the packing box,and by designing with the injection groove and hole to connect with the stem injection valve,which can inject grease.

Ball valve fireproof design is implementation of the API607,API6FA standards.According to service conditions and user requirements,ball valve can be designed as a fireproof structure.

)Fireproof structure of seat
As shown in figure7,there is composite fireproof ring,which are combined with graphite and stainless steel wire in the seat.Once the soft ring is burnt out in case of a fire,the fireproof ring and seat ring will form a piston structure through the spring to load the valve body.That will push and closely contact the metal seal surface of the seat ring to the body surface,So as to prevent a lot of medium from leaking from the burnt place of the seat ring,and prevent the fire from expending.

()Fireproof structure(body and bonnet)
The seal gasket for bolt connecting valve body and valve bonnet,are used fireproof stainless steel wire and flexible graphite gaskets.Gasket compression load through the bolts and ultimately,ensure the valve body and valve cover between the metal to metal contact,so that the valve can with stand more high load,but also improve the fire safety of the valve.But for the full welded ball valve,the valve body and cover is welded structure,that fundamentally eliminate the possibillity of leakage of the valve housing.Even in the case of fire damage,there will be no leak.

Q: Since the valve drain is usually open, I am wondering if placing the cap on the drain has made my water heater dangerous.
If it is the drain valve and not the pressure relief valve, you should be fine. The drain valve is not usually open, just when the sediment is drained out of the heater or when it is drained.
Q: I have a 1997 ford aerostar and my mechanic just called me and said that the pop off valve needs to be replaced, but it is attached to the line so the hole line has to be replaced to. I want to try to find the pop off valve to see if I can get it b/c he can't find the replacement part, what I need to know is what it looks like. or where it is on an aerostar, because I have 5 more sitting in the driveway and I can look for it.
1. the pop off valve is normally located in the compressor so if it over pressures it will relieve some of the pressure. it's not in a line. #2. if it's a 1997 it doesn't have R12. it has R134. the only valve in the line is the port to check pressures and vacuum and recharge it. it could have one of those valves leaking and most can be taken apart and a new schrader valve installed. hope this helps.
Q: I got new sprinkler valves put in (Rainbird anti-siphon kind). Every time a valve shuts off, it makes a loud squeak, kind of like plastic rubbing (NOT a bang like water hammering). Is this normal and will it go away? If not, what could be the problem? This is annoying because the sound can be heard in the house as it echoes through the pipes.
As the valve shuts down, the diaphragm will vibrate as the pressure changes from one side to the other, then it will Thump as it seals. This is normal. However, to isolate the squeak, you may check to see if there is a 1(backflow preventer installed, 2) (if built into the valves) the variable pressure screw on the top of the valve is set correctly. The variable pressure screw usually has a cross top handle (older ones had a dial) and should be set so that on a high pressure line, it shuts down fairly quickly. If this is open all of the way, it can cause the diaphragm to squeal by slowing the internal pressure change to shut it down.

Q: 1991 Buick Spirit smokes early for five minutes in morning, from exhaust. Tried every carburator and gas cleanative fluid. Mechanic says Valve job'.
Probably just the valve stem seals need replacing. NOT a entire 'valve job'. The seals help scrape oil off of valve stem to lower the amount of oil weeping into cylinder when engine is running or turned off. As the rubber ages, it cracks and loses its elasticity and doesn't wipe the stem properly. This is a lot cheaper versus a full 3-angle valve job which requires removal of the heads.. Get a second opinion.
Q: Ok. i just got my trumpet and i barely know anything about it. my trumpet book says, oil your valves but i cant even get them unscrewed, its like theyre glued in there...or maybe im just doing something wrong. Helppp
Well on the valves you will see there are caps on the bottom and top of the valve. The top cap (it is located at the top of the valve itself, not the button you press - it is the cap that the button lands on when pressed) you unscrew that and take the valve out to oil it. Just make sure you put it in back correctly, if you put it in incorrectly it will not play properly. Also don't drop or dent the valves as they are very delicate and the smallest dent can damage it. Make sure that when you unscrew it that you only use your fingers. DO NOT use any tools to get it unstuck otherwise you can damage the instrument. It would be best for you (because you're new at the trumpet) to take it to the local music store and ask them how to take care of a trumpet. I am sure they will be happy to show you. Hope that helps
Q: im trying to turn on my sprinklers from the valve manually,but doesn't seem to work, the valve it's an antisiphon rainbird valve with two little knobs, I know that one is the bleeder and the other the pressure control, or something like that, and the solenoid has the on and off arrows on it, but i can't do it anyways,they come on automatically right on time ,it's just the manual thing that i can't do, please help me,i really need it

Q: I have a WRX. slightly modified. im getting some upgrades here soon. clutch, brakes, and catback exhaust. i have a blow off valve i bought a while back, but found out it was illegal here in cali. if you know about blow off valves, then respond. is it worth putting on? what are the consciences of having one illegally if noticed by cops? all i know is that it sounds bad ***! :)
I doubt the cops would notice and if they do find out which is highly unlikely to happen you would just get a fix it ticket. i live in cali and i hear cars with blow off values all the time so my advice is don't trip and put it on your car. it will sound so bad ***!
Q: I am 31 and just discovered I have severe Mitral Valve Prolapse (Heart probelm). I probably have to have surgery. I have been healthy all my life and I am a little scared. Anyone had surgery for it? What can I expect??
yes. In Feb of last year. Had a gradually worsening valve and regurg. Had it done at UVA teaching hospital by an excellent surgeon and 2 doctors who were months away from being certified themselves. IN at 6 am, spent most of the day in surgery, stopped my heart, cut open my breastbone, opened my heart, sewed in a ring and trimmed the valve, closed and restarted. Spent a week in hospital; three weeks at home recovering and was released to come back to work at a very low physical demand (and driving a car with no airbags). Couldn't lift or pull anything for a good six months being cautious mostly about the wires holding my breastbone together. Was on blood thinner for about 45 days and on severe pain meds for about 30. HAd a little fluid develop on a lung that eventually cleared, and some anemia issues that also creared up. After 6 month, my cardio told me it went well enough I didn't have to see him again. Year later, only real side effect is some residual fatigue (im 51) and my breastbone gets sore when I'm tired or overstressed. I'm not a smoker and they said this was textbook. No worries man; you'll blow thru it
