- The latest AM3 motherboards I've seen all have a *4* pin CPU connector. It's somewhat common for power supplies to have a 4+4 CPU power connector. The specifications for your listed power supply list an 8-pin (EPS12V) motherboard connector. Unless that is a 4+4 configuration, you won't be able to power your motherboard with it. Other than that, the power supply would probably work OK. If you need a different power supply, check out a Corsair 650TX. That has the specifications and connectors that it will work OK with your video card and CPU, regardless of what motherboard you choose.

- The power cable will just power up the CD drive but NO music goes to motherboard and its sound port. Even just connecting the small audio connector between the CD drive and motherboard will produce sound output. Connecting the data cable to motherboard enables Windows to read and play the music files.
- Q: The computer is a Hp compaq.So I took the connector out of the computer but left it in the power socket.When I tried to reinsert the connector I hit the metal back panel of the computer and it made contact so I was wondering what is the part(s) that is likely to be broken?I want to know it so I can replace the damaged parts.Thanks in advance of your help.

- hahah are you kidding...yeah if you want to die...if you did that your psu would destroy your entire system when and if you tried starting it up and would most likely start a fire somehow...PSU's are very very sensitive and in no way should you try altering them..it would be a very very bad thing to do...best thing to do is buy a new one and make sure the cables are long enough

- Possibly on the BoxiT-200 that takes 12 to 19 volts at 3 amps, positive center. Read the printing on user manual, it gives the requirements. Most other Elmo projectors are plugged into an ac outlet.

- Try it out one way and if it your computer starts smoking, quickly unplug them and try it the other way. Make sure you are using 220v.

- I realize that your just starting out, But the worse mistake you made was buying a guitar on line, OK here is the truth, Once you get the guitar you are going to HAVE to take it in to a shop and have it setup So it will play,Action has to be set. will have to be tuned the first time, this is going to be about sixty bucks, Plus you are going to have to buy a instrument cable, Which is also at a music shop,A decent cord, is going to be 20 bucks,I have been playign38 years , have and still play on stage about every other wknd.Have went through alot of gear over the years.Twice i bought on line.both times I was screwed.Never buy before you play,Never,never.But putting that aside, Welcome aboard, always nice to hear someone else wanting to learn.all the Guys below gave you great advice, I,m just telling you the truth.Since your just beginning you will have no idea about setup.
