Main Structure for PE Copper:
Cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cable do not only has excellent electric, mechanical proper-ties,but also has powerful resistance against chemical corrosion, heat resistance and environmental stress resistance. Its structure is simple, the long period operating temperature is +90°C. It is convenient to use and can be laid with no restriction of different level.
Application for PE Copper
insulated power cables has a number of advantages over paper insulated and PVC insulated cable.XLPE cable has high electric strength, mechanical strength,high-ageing resisting, environmental stress resisting anti-chemical corrossion, and it is simple construction, using convenient and higher operating of long term temperature. It can be laid with no drop restriction.
Various of flame-retardant and non-flame retardant XLPE cable can be manufactured with three technology(peroxide, silance and irradiation crosslinking). The flame-retardant cable covers all kinds of low-smoke low-halogen,low-smoke halogen free, and non-smoke nonhalogenated and three slasses of A,B,C.

- Q: I lost my Xbox power brick and was wondering if I could use a cable from my old ps3?
- of course not, they're made for a completely different system
- Q: UPGRADING BIG 3. ARE THOSE TWO CABLES THE SAME THING ? DOES IT MATTER WHICH ONE I USE FOR THE BIG 3 UPGRADE?
- The wire is the same, just different color so you dont confuse yourself when installing. You'll actually have to upgrade BOTH wires to properly do the big 3. 1. + Batt to + Alternator output post 2. - Batt to frame/chassis 3. frame/chassis to engine block 4. (For extra) engine block to - Batt All in at least 0 awg gauge wire. I've done my in 0/2 awg gauge welding cables.
- Q: Why do phone lines stay on when other lines power and cable will go out during a storm?
- I'm just amazed at how little people know about everyday things. The phone company actually runs their phones on BATTERIES... so when the power goes out, the batteries keep the phones alive... it has been done this way for OVER 100 YEARS... so it's nothing new.
- Q: I have a Karcher power washer which was left outside over night. An animal chewed threw the power cable and so is unusable. I was wondering how to re-connect the power cord together, safely. I do not want to cross wires and use electrical tape. I was thinking of using a connector, but unsure of whether to use a two pinned or three pinned connector.
- You can install a plug on the cord to replace the one that was chewed off. Choose one with the same number of prongs as the cord has wires (2 or 3). Be sure to attach each wire to the correct terminal! Splicing the cord is also OK, and tape would not be a problem if applied properly, but I prefer to use heat-shrink tubing. When I do a top-grade splice, I first twist the wires tightly together without making a tail, then I solder them.
- Q: ive recently opned my external harddrive case so that i could put dat harddrive in my pc ... i was able to take out the ide cable but i cnt take out the power cable... plz help me.. how can i take out the power cable?
- Thats nothing new..Molex connectors often stick do not try to pull it out by the wires! grab it by the sides of the connector and wiggle it back and forth (side to side) it will come out eventually!
- Q: I have this printer, bought for $100 at Best Buy a few years ago... I moved almost 2 years ago, and seemingly have lost one or more of the cords associated with this printer. Im trying to find out which one is missing. I have the one which connects the printer to the computer [USB]. But I dont have the one that gives it power... It looks like the end would fit into a 3 hole [prong?] opening, the holes are all in line... Anyone got an ideas? Know what Im talking about? If so, any idea what its called, or where I can find one? Im sure online, but I havent any idea what Im looking for at this point.
- Hi okorder /
- Q: power cables for 3 phase wire
- What about it?
- Q: how many 4pin molex power cable is needed to convert it to the 6pin adapter for ATI radeon hd 2900xt?
- a 6 pin power adapter uses 2 molex (4pin) connectors. However, you can't have them from the same cable (you know how some cables have 2 or 3 connectors on them), or else you won't have enough amps.
- Q: I am working in ship is it possible the welding cable can run together (same cable tray) with power cable 400V and 220V
- The welding cable has lower voltage (<40Volt) but a large current. The welding cable used to have lower insulation Resistance compared to the power cable. That is why it is not recommended to run the welding cable in same tray to the power cable
- Q: Most systems are about 1 thousand watts, the red power cable is really thick but then the speaker wire is really thin about 12 gauge, shouldn't the speaker wire be as thick as the power cable?
- No. Wire thickness is about current (and length). And current is inversely related to voltage. When voltage is high (like an amp's speaker outputs) it takes less current to make power. When voltage is low (like a car's alternator/battery) it takes a lot of current to make power. Alternator voltage is ~14v. Amplifier output voltage is commonly 20-40v. Your 1000w example... Say it's a fairly efficient class D mono, 1000w at 2 ohms and 80% efficient. To produce that 1000w requires 1250w from the alternator at around 13v. Ohm's law says current (I) = power(p)/voltage(e) So I = 1250/13, I = 96A On the output side -- I = sqrt(p/r), I = sqrt(1000/2), I = 22A
