- I painted my living room a nice dark shade of orange. Everyone loves it. Try getting some different color shades from the paint store. Take em home and hold them up to your couch. Pick a bunch of different colors. Ones you would normally not get included. I thought my hub would of fell out of his chair when I came home with the orange, but he really ended up liking it.
