They say that the diagonal depth of the sofa is 32 and that's what determines whether or not it will fit. However, the sofa has removable back cushions and the actual back of the sofa is 29. Will it fit through the door?
- Having moved several sofas myself, it's very doable. Of course you can't just set the sofa flat and breeze it thru the doorway.Remove all cushions. Get a friend to help you. Tilt the sofa forward at an angle and see if it will fit in the doorway that way. You may need to remove the legs. My huge sofa was brought in by standing it on end, and moving the sofa back thru the doorway, then turning it slightly to get the seat portion in the door. Professional movers do this all the time.

- That looks a lot like the sofa a tenant left in the suite I'm now living in, but this one is a hide-a-bed and way to heavy to lift for one person. So it was left behind. How tall is your doorway opening? Most are 82, but some older ones are taller, and a 91 sofa can be passed through them on end, if there aren't any serious obstructions right near the inside of the door. This requires at least two strong and experienced movers, btw. Add: I see your door is only 79 high. Sorry. In looking at the side or end view of that sofa, there is some soft padding on the top that could compress enough to fit through a 36 opening if the door is swung open way way wide and the padded part somehow compressed, say with cardboard and ropes. No guarantee that will work, though. Maybe the sofa can fit through a window or something? Otherwise, perhaps you should keep looking for a similar design that will fit.

- Go with Karlstad. The Sater looks cheap, and the higher cost of the Karlstad probably means better quality (and the Karlstad comes in much nicer colors).

- Each time your cat urinates on the couch, it soaks into the cushion, further further. My advice to you, would be to call Stanley Steemer ask if they can clean the sofa for you. They may have chemicals that will eliminate the odor. If I was you, I'd go to the Pet Store buy a bottle of spray that smells tastes like bitter apples. A pet store employee will know the name of it. Spray it daily on the sofa once it's been cleaned. It will not harm your cat but he will think twice about peeing there. You need to figure out why he's not using his litter box. There's a good reason. As long as you clean out the litter box 2-3 times a day, he'll use it. Make sure the litter box remains in one place at all times.

- Its a bad idea, and I think you'd get sick of it after a week or so anyway Besides I doubt its good for your back. Why not get a sofabed, which unfolds into a proper bed, but then folds back into a sofa when its not in use? Seems to be the pretty obvious choice...
