Q: my carpets is full of old stains and i need to get the out . is there any good home remedies that i can try to remove the stains from my carpet .. thanks: I don't know of any home remedies but the super markets carry several brands of carpet foam and squirt containers that do a pretty good job.

Q: So i practily live in my basement. Its a hard wood floor but my moms stupid dog as come down and peed on it countless times. It seems like an easy fix case u would usualy just spray it down where the pee was and clean it up. Problem is my rug is black so i cant see the stains .Im sick of the smell and my friends dont want to come over cause of it. I dont want to have to get rid of the rug ... i cant take it outside cause its gross and wet and raining all week. What should i do?: If you want to solve your problem for good You should hire rug cleaner to solve your problem. This can be very challenging and time consuming process. You can pay $2 or $3 a sf. You have to wash with shampoo and water and must dry properly otherwise you will have mold problem.

Q: whats a good inexpensive stream cleaner that will make my carpet look like new again! we moved into our apartment almost a year ago and it was a very rainy muddy day, ever since my carpets have just been plain nasty looking, its only the livingroom and diningroom though. What can i get that will actually work: We have a townhouse and 2 dogs who go out alot so we have similar problems. We have the Bissel proheat steamer and we like it. The first time you use it is amazing. Make sure that you vacuum really well beforehand. We use ours about every 6 weeks and does make a huge difference. It will not get everysingle stain out. But, it will pick up all the water/soap that it puts down if you do the pick up pass very soon after you do the put down pass. So do smaller (like a 3ft x 6ft section) at a time instead of putting down water and soap over the whole room and then trying to pick up the solution. You can always go back over an area if you want.

The carpet will come molded to the shape of your cargo area so by taking off the plastic molding, marking them or laying them out on the driveway in the order taken out is not a very hard task. I have taken out and replaced headliners the same way but I would much rather do a cargo area. You'll do fine!

Q: How can I get it out? Tea leaves bad stains doesn't it?: Dang! If its still fresh take a towel and apply as much pressure as possible (like stand on top of it) and just keep on repeating untill you soak up as much tea as possible. Then head to the store and pick a stain remover. good luck

Anyone know of a stain or a dye I could use to get the color back?: oops! okorder IF the rug is cotton or similar plant fiber. If your rug is poly fibers, toss it... no amount of dying will stay.

Q: I have 5 kids and we rent our house .well it got so bad we rented a rug doctor it took so much of the dirt out I couldn't belive how dirty the water was. It didn't take long for the carpet to dry after we did it but now when you get down next to the floor it still smells like dirty socks!.does this mean I got the pad to wet or maybe I didn't mix the soap right?what can I do to take out that dirty sock smell?: carpet always smells like a wet dog. lol You can rent the rug doctor again but this time when after you shampoo... rinse with vinegar water. this will help remove soap residue and help keep your carpet from picking up more dirt that sticks to soap.
