Q: My wife and I are putting chair rail in various places of our new home. We have seen a few pictures of rooms in magazines in which the chair rail was quite a bit higher (for instance, about 5 feet up on an 8 foot ceiling) than usual and liked the way it looked. My dad told us that we probably shouldn't do this. Anyone have any opinions?: Most likely what you were seeing was a picture rail ... those tend to be about 2 feet from the ceiling where as a traditional chair rail tends to be be about 2-3 feet from the floor. I think if the higher rail is something you like then its your perogative and go ahead!

Q: I have an english project due very soon, its a role play thing called town hall, we pick an issue, which is bad roads in our town, then we get a role, mine was a person in a wheel chair, so i need to know, do bad roads effect you in any way, like having to avoid pot holes or anything, repairs to your chair? anything will help.: I am not permanently in a chair, but was for a while due to an injury. I was stuck with the hard wheeled variety.. I felt every bump, and the terrain had to be quite smooth to facilitate independent travel. People having chairs with pneumatic tires are less likely to be affected by road hazards. You see people buzzing around in parking lots and on roadsides all the time with motorized wheelchairs and scooters. That said, bad roads would make it challenging to get around, they can handle a certain level of ill-maintained roads, but they have their limits. When your tires are only 6 inches in diameter, an 8 inch pothole causes trouble. Try to think about this from their point of view - noticing the size of curbs vs clearance of the chair, etc.

Q: I don't know how to draw the chair conformation of cyclohexane.I know how to draw a chair, but not how to figure out where the substituents go...like where to put them after a ring flip and all that fun stuff..detailed explanations or a website that shows it step by step. PLEASE: In the above link when you see chair conformation of cyclohexane you will find that every carbon of the cyclohexane ring has two hydrogens (or substituents), one of which is in axial conformation (shown in red colour) and other is in equitorial conformation (shown in blue colour). When you flip a chair conformation to other chair conformation the axial substitutent becomes equitorial and equitorial becomes axial, this is also clear in the above link.

Q: Our puppy likes to take a few pieces of food from the kitchen and carry them over to the chairs by the kitchen table, sit down, and eat under there! What's going on? My wife thinks it's a sign of a problem...: They might be scared or probably lack of trust. What you could is encourage them come from under there but at their own pace. Do it with alot of love and compassion. It might even be their favorite place to eat.

Q: I bought a Thomasville Winfrey chair for $40 used last year, and have been holding off on having it reupholstered because of the cost. I've tried slipcovers with arm padding, but everything just looks weird on it. The current fabric is in terrible shape, but the structure is like new, and the wood is in great shape.: Since you only paid $40 for it, the $350 is certainly a reasonable alternative to new. In most cases. reupholstering is much more expensive than buying new but if you know that the chair is $900-$1200 new, this is a bargain.

Q: Can't put my actual tent up and need to make one with blankets and chairs. Please please help me.: take four chairs, i use the ones from my dining room with nice points edges. space them out and place them facing away from each other ( like if people were going to sit facing away from everyone). get a biggg blanket and throw it over the chairs. (i reccomend a big but thin blanket so it will stay up, a bed sheet will also work well cause you can stretch the elastic around the chairs.) if your chairs have rounded edges duct tape the blanket to the chairs, or maybe put a pillow on the chair and tuck the blanket beneath it so it stays. if the blanket is too heavy you might have to place a book or something on the chairs to weight them down. next, if you want, you can throw a smaller blanket over just two of the chairs and let it hang off the side to make a door kind of. or, throw towels lengthwise over the middle of the big blanket to make doors. use pillows on the inside to cover up empty spaces and in between the chairs. BE CREATIVE! Hope this helps! :)

Q: Other than the obvious that its a match with I guess lots of chairs, but is that it? is there any other stipualtion to it, IDK cant use any weapon other than a Chair, we have ladder Match which is climb up ladder retreive Title then we have Table's Match which is put opponent through a table and we have TLC which is a Ladder Match with Tables and Chairs. So what is Chair Match? it just does not make sence to me.Also do you think it will be weird as technically we have 2 Ladder Matches so do they find a way to dangle the 2 sets of titles or are one lot raised later on.BQ What do you think should be main Event at TLC?I think its either going to be DX Vs Jeri-Show or The ECW Championship Match most likely Tag Match as I dought they'll have ECW as The Main Event, but I think it should be.: There is no chairs match I never saw one. (The only options should be TLC or Ladder maybe they could have TL Tables and Ladders.) BQ: Main event DX vs Jeri-show or the WHC championship.
