Q: well i bought a computer chair and i thought it was $90 but they gave me a $40 one instead (they billed me $40 anyway). Q: I am shopping for a used high chair for my 4.5 month old.: And we use it a ton. It can fit on a regular dining room chair - it can be used with or without the tray. It can sit on the floor. It folds up and can be toted to someone else's house. And it can be taken apart pretty easily and the entire thing put in the dishwasher. I wouldn't spend money on a high chair, frankly.

Q: I am needing to reupholster my dining chairs, and I found some fabric that I really love. It is woven cotton (quilting weight). Can it be used for the dining chairs if I use a protective treatment on it to protect it?: 100% cotton is not a great fabric for upholstery, upholstery fabric is much thicker and tested for durability. Cotton will also absorb a lot of dirt dust and is hard to spot clean. Treating it may temporarily make it more durable.

I'd say $150 for any old utility piece of furniture in nice condition. You could probably do better if you were to sell it as a modern or industrialist piece. Have you looked around underneath for any labels or markings?
