Q: I am going to go shopping for high chair of Tuesday and I need some help. My son is almost five months old.I want one that has several hight positions, removable tray (for easy cleaning), and possibly the seat can also recline to lower angle. It makes it so easy to clean up, Which is completely important in my life. It reclines, has adjustable heights, and moves easily with wheels. And we liked the colors. However, my two year old is getting big, and so we just had to go out and buy a booster seat for her. That being said, if I were going to buy a brand new high chair for my 6 week old, I would go with the Graco Blossom, because it would last longer. It's more expensive, but it does everything a regular high chair does, and has a booster seat, too. And I like how safe Graco items are.

Q: I have to make a cad drawing of chair , but first I have to measure the chair and put the dimension in the drawing , but there are lot of curved shapes on the chair and lot of angle , but I couldn't figure out how to measure those curves and angles.Should I lie the chair down and sketch it on the surface and measure it from the surface. Thanks: When I first saw this question, I was going to make a snappy answer such as - randomly draw lines all over the place and then erase all the ones that don't look like a chair. But, after reading the question, it's a good one. Measuring curves can be very tricky. I usually draw a straight line parallel to the curves on the actual object and mark the line at several preset, equally spaced points. I then make several measurements at these set intervals on the line to the actual curves - the more measurements, the more accurate the drawing. I then use this information to duplicate the curve from a straight line in the drawing. There may be other methods, too, but I find that this one works best for me. Good luck.

You either have something horribly wrong with your mattress or you spend waaaay to much time laying on it. The answer to your question is going to depend on several things. Size and layout of the room. Game console/TV or computer. Wireless controls or wired. If it's a console/TV setup how big is the TV and how high off the floor is it. If you have a computer, or a television that's 24 inches or more off the floor, it's best to get an ergonomic office chair with adjustable arm rests and lumbar support. If you have a game console/TV setup and it's close to the floor (no more than 18 inches off the floor), then you have several options. Personally I like a large overstuffed bean bag chair. It's easy to move, conforms to my body, and I can easily change positions. Gaming rockers can be really nice too if they are made right. Do a google search and you will find a huge selection. Last but not least, the good old reclining rocker you grampa uses should be really comfortable. But getting it to fit in your room could be an issue, especially if he's still sitting in it.

Q: Someone gave me an old chair. Looks cool in a vintage way, but some of the upholstery is worn. This may be a dumb question. But can any idiot reupholster or do you need special training? Are there any cheap ways to cover furniture? For example, I did a search and found a lot of decorative furniture tacks? What are these exactly. Since I have no upholstery experience, I was thinking of buying some cool looking fabric and tack it on the chair? Is that a dumb idea? Also, do furniture tacks stay put? I was wondering if anyone knew of an old area where lifts are still up? or even if the chairs are set on the ground that would be ideal. I'm looking for old chairs to just really get a good sense of the old technology that was used on these old mountain/areas. I've had some great success with finding rope tows and Poma lifts, however chairlifts are hard to find really with chairs still attached! Any information would be great. Just a hint. I am NOT looking to take these. I have found old Poma Bars, T-Bars, and old rope tow handles and always abide by the rules of the area. I have taken ONE T-bar, and asked the mountains owner for permission to take it. I don't know how I could fit a chair in my little Ford Taurus either! Why they would be used in art nowadays, I cannot imagine. It might be DONKEY chair, which is a normal chair with boxes built under the arms, and/or on the back, for storing equipment. (Because of how donkeys were loaded with packages). It must have a more modern name, but I do not know it. This makes more sense for places where you have to keep small tools handy.
