- NavyBrat - I recently re-covered 6 kitchen chairs and 6 dining rom chairs. They are in separate rooms but visible to each other. I chose 2 different patterns with the same color profile. Different textures - the kitchen chairs have a much heavier texture tan the dining room chairs. I did a lot of shopping and found my fabric at a local remnant upholstery shop. I purchased 5 yards of fabric for $35. The original price on the fabric for the kitchen chairs was $30 per yard and the original price for the dining room fabric was $35 per yard. I do believe I got a great deal. 12 chair cushions for $35. Same color profile - different pattern, different texture. Good luck
- Q:I came across a probability problem and am having trouble coming up with the answer. There are 9 people in a group and 9 chairs to sit in. If 3 of them are girls and 3 chairs are pink, what are the chances that the 3 girls sit in the 3 pink chairs? Assuming everything is perfectly random and each person has the same probability to sit in any of the 9 chairs. Thanks!

- I didn't get one until my son was out of our room at a month. I wish I had done it sooner as it was so much easier to feed and sit comfortably. I ended up getting one at Walmart online and it was JUST as nice ans soooo much cheaper! My nursery is all Pottery Barn and the glider matches totally! GL!
- Q:I am thinking of adding a chair railing to my dining room and kitchen. We have an older home and I want to make it looker newer. Would adding the chair railing increase or decrease value of my house if I add it appraised? Will it make it look older?
- Chair rail is more traditional, if you plan to sell the home soon this may be a logical investment however as most fads do this one will go away again. Also if you don't have crown molding chair rail may look odd.

- LOL I don't know if it's my favorite, but it's where I spend most of my non working time, my desk chair. Since most of my work is out in the field, building something or fixing something, the rest of my time is at the computer or doing paper work. So this is the chair that I feel most comfortable in. It's not fancy, but I did get one that is comfortable to sit in. I do have other chairs and a sofa in the house, but except for watching a foot ball game or something like that, I don't use them very often. My dog has even claimed the sofa as his own LOL Just me I guess
- Q:Over the years the foam in my leather chair has lost its ability to to firmly support someone. Replacing the foam is not a DIY endeavour. Are there any reupholsters in the Toronto area who can do something like this at a reasonable cost? The ones I have contacted are too pricey.
- Hi pc, I would suggest if you have any local Upholstery Schools ( colleges Night Classes etc ) in your area you may want to call them and inquire of any available help with your chair cushion. Many times the students in class are willing to replace and repair as part of the upholstery classes. Which because they are students, this repair may cost you a lot less. Good Luck!
