- I've used them on my patio, but have experienced some problems particularly if they are rubber backed. The good news is that both can be removed with DampRid Mold and Mildew Remover (the one for fabrics) and it protects the rug from it happening again with little moisture exposure (not drenching, pouring soaking rain). If I'd have known about this product, I would have sprayed it on first before putting it outside and just picked it up when we have a heavy rain to keep it from molding.

- Judges in my area use a 7 year life on carpet. It really depends on the quality of carpet and how long it should last. Nylon carpet is better than olefin and lasts longer, but is more expensive and will last longer and clean better. In the same vain, my state puts only a 2 years life on interior paint in a rental. Have you had a professional carpet cleaning company see if they can clean it and get the spots out? If the spots are from dirt that would be more in line with normal wear an tear. If the spots are from pets stains, food, and spills that is not normal. No matter what, you should not be charged for the entire cost of a new carpet, but depreciate the carpet no less than 50%.

- to be completley honest it is not the best time to clip a horse , the best time is october-november the reason im saying this is that the clip will have grown back by september as winter hair starts to grow but if you do it october then it should last until may the following year. But anyways to answer your question i would go woth the lighter rug during the day if its warmer and maybe if it is a cold night but the other heavy neckrug on or a simple sweatsheet under the light sheet. what im saying is that the light non neck rug is fine unless it goes below 8 degrees

- Yes its a softer fiber. Softer than your standard nylon carpet. But the drawback is that the fibers don t stand up as well as nylon and defiantly won t last as long as wool. Being a rug and if its a decorative rug it won t get the wear and tear as a standard carpet. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL

- It can not be too much so first of all scrape it all off the carpet and then use some spray removers and a brush. Some work really well and dry to a powder to hoover off or take some warm water with some washing up liquid in it and either brush the stain away or use a cloth to do the same. You might need to do it a couple of times but the stain you have is not a bad one and it should lift. After the wash use clean water to rinse the soap off and blot dry with towel or paper. If you use tissue paper you will see when the paper gets dry. Just make sure when you get rid of the stain that you go past the mark it has left and it should not leave a ring.
