Q: where can i buy a power cable for my Lexmark P350 series photo printer?
You can also contact Lexmark Technical Support at 1-800-LEXMARK to request for the Lexmark P350 photo printer power cord for free. Hope this helps.
Q: Hey guys, I noticed that with heavy use of the power cord to my laptop, a part of the rubber surrounding the cord is open near the insertion part and you can see the wires. I'm just curious how dangerous it is. I don't have another power cord for my laptop, so do any of you have a recommendation for what I can do?
if you can see the copper on the inside then yes it is very dangerous, but if you don't want to buy a new cable all you should need is some black electrical tape and wrap it around the exposed area and it should be fine.
Q: I have a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF, I need a replacement power cable, on the manual it says for power: 240W, 1259 Btu/hr, 100 Vac to 240 vac, 50hz to 60 hz 3.6A. I contacted Dell and they said they have a power cable for it, the Dell 5120P cable which is 125 V 10A. Now my concern is with the 10A vs the 3.6A listed on the manual, should I be concerned?
If the 3.6A cord has the power supply built into the cord, (brick) then a standard power cord without a brick will not work. Unplug your cord from the case and look at the end of it. If it has three connections, a standard cord will work. If it has 8 contacts, you need a brick type cord.
Q: Included in my EVGA 8800gs box was a 6 pin to 2x 4 pin molex power cable. My current power supply already had a 6 pin power cable. My Cooler Master 500w power supply has dual rails pushing 16amp each. The requirements for the EVGA 8800gs are:Minimum of a 400 Watt power supply.(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 22 Amp Amps.)Notice the 22 amp. To supply this power, am I supposed to connect the 6 pin to 2x 4 pin molex power cable to each of the 16amp rails from my power supply therefor providing 32amp? How am I supposed to get 22amps to the card? Most all power supplies I see that are dual railed go no higher than 20amp per rail.Any thoughts? Thanks,Brad
If you already have a 6 pin then your good to go. The 2x 4pin molex connectors are for the case if you didn't have the 6pin. The rails on a PSU are not independant, they are combined. Look for the maximum loading of your PSU.
Q: I was playing Call of Duty Black ops when i looked down at my mess of cables. I have a lamp the also plugs into the same power outlet. When i looked down my lamp(that i leave on 10 out of 24 hours of the day) had this white stuff on it. I didn't think too much of it at that time but i looked at it again later and i was nervous that it could be dangerous. Anyone have any idea's as to what it could and if it is dangerous? Will it continue to spread? I don't want my ps3 to be destroyed. I looked on the internet and it sounds like Battery post corrosion. Not sure though. Thank you very much.
If you have batteries, then it could be these leaking acid, and in time, these will erode your equipment, any other corrosion,I would take as a sign to replace your equipment
Q: I managed to break off the tip of my laptop power cable to the point that I need it replaced. I can't pay with cash on OKorder and don't own a credit card. Anyone know an electronics store where I could find another? Thank you.
Eee mini laptops use something referred to as an SSD complicated force or a stable State force. those are drives that have no shifting factors in them. THey perform very such as a USB flash force with in uncomplicated terms circuits and chips on them, no automobiles, no platters, no needles like complicated Drives. they are very rapid and extremely cool to assert the least :) With admire to those with cameras they are the fashions in the 900 and 1000 sequence that characteristic cameras. The seven hundred sequence ones have an non-compulsory digital camera on the 701 sort. have exciting at the same time with your new pc mini :) they are exciting Oh and additionally look at IBM, they make mini laptops too and additionally the recent MacBook Air is a mini pc, it extremely is particularly easy, slender and probable the best one :)
Q: So i left my xbox on over night (i know i know) and during the night there was either a power outage or surge, cuz all the electronic clocks had been reset. So i went to my xbox, and the light on the power cable box was red and my xbox wouldnt turn on. I havent tried unplugging it yet cuz the wires are behind my tv and a pain in the *** to get to, but i have a feeling this wont help.do i need to get it repaired?
The power brick is shot. Same problem happened to me. Best solution is to call xbox support and ask for a replacement. They'll ship one to you,the only problem is that sometimes they will charge you and sometimes they won't.
Q: I am usng a ripspeed R2100 Amp JMB 1000W Sub speaker the amp has 2 25amp fuses attatched, but I do not know what fuse to use in the main audio power cable, I have been upto 40 amp it blew that, I dont know if I maybe have wire something wrong, can anyone help, thanks
G man and timothy are the only ones who are right. The others do not understand about fuses. The current rating is an absolue so an 8amp fuse will blow when 9 amps goes through it. The voltage is just an indication of the possible use, but it just does not matter in this range. At all. SO sorry your husband is right and it would work fine and give exactly the same protection as the original. You are not changing the specification in any way that matters. If you want the physics, heat produced in a wire equals I (current) squared x R (resistance) x time (seconds) Joules. No voltage element in that equation. SO if the current flowing generates more heat than can radiate away from the fuse wire, it will get hotter until it melts - when the fuse has blown.
Q: 98 dodge intrepid, wanna run power cable through the firewall without drilling a hole.
Look around under the steering column. There should be a place where other wires and things come through already. Its pretty easy to run through there. That's usually the best place to run wires through. After you get through the firewall run the wire under the plastic floor paneling. hope this helps.
Q: i have a 01 grand prix gt and i want to run the power cable to an amp , anyone know a good spot to run it?
I recommend running it on the same side as your battery. That way you won't have to cross all the way to the other side of the car. Also, it reduces the length required for the wire. If there is somewhere that you can life up (like a panel you can pull up on the bottom of your car, where the doors are), you can potentially hide the wire under that and run it also.
