- Yes, you can make car carpeting. Just go to any carpet store and buy any carpet you want. You could even carpet your car with shag, if that's what you like (although it will be a lot harder to keep clean than indoor-outdoor carpeting). Use your existing carpet as a template. When you remove the carpet, try to keep it as whole as possible and then just lay it on top of the new carpet for a template. You might have to use books or some other weight to flatten the template, because it's bound to be bumpy after being formed to your car for so long. Then just tape the new carpet in place using carpet tape -- or use glue that's made to adhere to metal. Your car can have any kind of carpet you like. Personally, I would stick with carpets that are easy to keep clean (short-fibered carpets made of nylon), but honestly this is your choice.

- Obviously, the throw rug seems more natural to the cat than a litter box does. Get a new litter box, and place it on the throw rug. Also, make sure it has a different type of litter in it. This can be clumping/non clumping, scented/non scented, shallow/deep, and the such. My uneducated guess is that your scat cat, is just wanting a place all it's own... ;) More litter boxes and scooping more than ONCE a day is necessary for this finicky cat. Hope this helps,

- The Kool coats are good rugs. Personally I don't use the lites, I use the regular as they are more resistant to rips etc. Same rug cut, just a heavier material. If it is hot where you are they will be great for your horse. My fellow had the regular on all summer (NSW/VIC border 44c) and I never found him sweating at all. But if you horse is not in with others who may rip it, the lite will be fine. They are a very generous rug in size, generally don't rub and have a good tail flap. They are a really good price and the sale is going to end soon! Now.... on that note.... I really did not need to be directed to the Horseland catalogue, as I have already spent WAAAAY TOO MUCH already this month!!! Seeing the catalogue reminded of a couple of things I could get, that I really don't need. LOL ;-) They rug will be fine for you. - Yes, you need to have the carpet to carpet non-skid. It should be pretty cheap. You could use duct tape, and it could very well keep the rug in place. that's basically what carpet to carpet padding is. It's very sticky on both sides. If you ever have problems removing the tape residue, try just a tiny, tiny bit of AFTA which is a solvent.

- While the repair may never be invisible, remove a 2' by 2' section from a closet or hidden area and use this piece as a templet to remove the damaged area. Place double stick tape on the floor around the cut area and insert the replacement piece. Of course it is best to use a hot glue or seam iron. replace the hidden are with the damaged piece
