- Q: I stained my carpet, and I was always told to use clorox to get rid of it. I did, but now my room smells a little like clorox. Not bad. In fact, I think the smell is going away. How long will it last until the fumes are completely gone?
- not good to use bleach it can dye your carpet but to get rid of the smell you have to make sure u blot out the clorox out of your carpet with a clean cloth with water that should help

- Check with specialty carpet outlets. Cutting would be easy, they would have ideas on who could put a binding on that end.

- Step 1: When you compare two items, you want to compare them on common grounds, so... convert all the measurements to inches. Step 2: Find the Area by multiplying length (l) times width (w) or as its probably is shown in your text book... lw. Step 3: Create two ratios. A ratio shows a relationship between things so you can make common comparisons. Like price per pound of hard candy ($ per pound or $/lb) to $/lb of chocolate candy. In this case you're comparing the price of small rugs to large rugs. $/size. Example: Large rug is 58 by 94. The area is lw=58*94=5,452 square inches. Therefore the $/size is $299/5,452 or 299 divided by 5,452 = $.055 per square inch. Do the same for the smaller rug and see if they are the same or similar which would answer the second question.

- Q: i kno its not good to use on carpet, but techniquelly, dont clorox wipes still disenfect the carpet they are used on?
- A carpet steamer would be your best bet for disinfecting. The clorox is going to put white spots all over the carpet.
- Q: My carpet is only 4 1/2 years old and in good shape with no big stains. My only complaint is that it's too light. Someone suggested having my carpet dyed a darker color, but I've never heard of anyone doing that before. Has anyone had this done before or know anyone who has? If so, what are the pro's and con's? - Q: Our guestroom has some old carpeting that we want to replace with new carpeting. I am about to rip out the carpet and padding and am wondering whether I need to remove all the old staples if I will just be laying carpet and padding over it again anyway. Thanks!
- if you have children or walk around with bare feet it would be best to remove staples.a flat head screwdriver and pliers work very well..
