- Professional cleaning for turnout rugs is something like ?12 a go ( but they often run special offers so it's worth checking it out) locally I can get them washed, repaired and reproofed at the same time. Washing them at home involves bins, scrubbing brushes and a really long time to dry - not something I'd recommend, the money you'd save by doing it yourself really isn't worth the hassle involved. The stable rugs, coolers etc all go into my washing machine.

- You could try the rubber self liners. You could find them in Walmart or any Dollar General. You might need to get a few if the rug is big. Good Luck.

- Not a very nice thing to say about your mother. Bleach does not stain. (Now who looks soooooo smart) It has no color, it is a color remover. Nothing you can do to fix it on carpet but remove the carpet or replace it.

- Try a mixture of white vinegar and water- 3 to 1 with the water first. Blot and use a towel to dry-Repeat several times. This worked on my wool Persian rug.

- is it a puppy from a litter of your dogs? or have you just bought a 5 week old puppy? if its the latter then you need to take it to the vet asap as a puppy this young will die without the right care/food. report the breeder to the RSPCA (UK) or other organisation if ur in the US. puppies minimum age for leaving dam/litter mates is 8weeks for a good reason, before this age you are only taking on a potentially BIG problem and expensive vet bill.
