- By carpet panels,do you mean carpet tiles? If so, you need to remove all your carpet first. Smooth the floor surface,or glue or nail down hardboard panels first. This will ensure even surface throughout area you want to cover.Do your panels have a sticky side? Or do you want to glue them? You need to use suitable glue(hardware shop should know). Measure floor area first. Always start from centre of room working outwards.This ensures any half-cuts you need to make will be on outside walls.Do you not have A Mega 10 website.? - Q: Hi i was planning on buying a traditional looking rug for my living room to go underneath a cherrywood coffee table what i wanted to know is what are the measurements I shold look out for? - The rug moves because there is insufficient friction between the rug and floor. The force of walking has enough force to make it move ( we had similar issue with our rugs) You can purchase the grippers that you lay between the floor and rug. No glue tape or other adhesive involved. you can buy it at bed bathroom and beyond, home depot (i think) Good luck
- Q: I'm moving into a house and it is solid concrete, the walls and the floors. we want to install carpet in two of the bedrooms and we were originally going to get stick on carpet tiles, but they were unavailable. We think that traditional carpet installation would be too big of a project for us to handle ourselves and hiring someone would cost too much. So my question is, how exactly do we go about this? - I've never actually put carpet on but I've watched my dad do it, you need a layer of underlay underneath the carpet, you can use adhesive but most people nail the carpet down or there are these thing (I've forgotten what they're called) which are wooden strips with nails in them which you put under carpets
- Q: Okay, so that's 2 questions in one. Don't hold it against me. Instead, please suggest a cleaner (or a home-made recipe/solution) for cleaning and shining stainless steel small appliances (coffee maker, panini maker, barmen's toolset, and some others) and for how to get set-in stains out of a small oriental rug. Don't know the composition of the stains; they've been there for awhile. They are on a white-ish background. Thanks!
- For the stainless steel appliances, I like to use Cerama Bryte- they make several stainless steel cleaners. When I am out, I use vinegar.
- Q: You know, 3 or 4 inches thick... perfect for in front of the fireplace or anywhere me and my lover might want to get down...I just cant seem to use the right search terms online, and I keep finding entire bear rugs..... yuck... not very romantic.
