Q:kids had a musrard fight on a neutral colored carpet: Hi, Unfortunately there is nothing that will take out a mustard stain, it depends on how old the carpet is, but you could try to claim on your warranty through the manufacturer wether it's shaw, Mohawk, Gulistan, etc.. ask where you bought the carpet and make a claim. Unfortunately under a stain warranty coffee, tea and mustard are not covered but you could try. What has happened is that the yellow from the mustard has thoroughly died the carpet fiber from it's original color.. Any harsh cleaner will discolor the carpet so be careful...Try the cleaning line by Capture..they have it at Lowes or Home Depot in the flooring dept. It's really good. Oxy clean, used out side of the laundry room,has permanently ruined thousands , if not millions of yards of Nylon carpet.. You will have to hire a professional carpet layer/installer to remove a piece of same carpet from a closet to patch in the damaged area. This is done daily through out the country in rental properties. The closet can then be pieced in with an in expensive piece of carpet similar in color and design.Call a carpet/flooring store to locate a competent person to do this delicate work for you. Good Luck and remember to warn your friends about the damaged caused by this product when used where it shouldn't have been used.

Q:I don't have the cash to rent a rug doctor. I have a large white rug in my living room and I guess from walking around the house with no socks on, there is a 2'x6' area that is darker than the rest, along with a few stains from spilled drinks.I have a bottle of some carpet cleaning foam with a cheap scrubber on the end but it's just too small to cover that large of an area.So I'm thinking a bucket and a rag might be the best option. Carpeting is an expensive investment, you should take care of it. Dishwashing soap normally is colored, these dyes can redye your carpet if you administer it in the cleaning process. Use only clear or white dish soap if you are bold enough to try this your self. The bottom of your socks is probably where the dirt is coming from. Keep a pair of slippers available, preferably without black hard foam soles, and wear them inside the home.

Can you see MISCELLANEOUS and ALL? It is possible that the sub-category 'rugs' only appeared after I installed a certain expansion pack. But if that is the case, and 'rugs' only got its own icon sub-category after EA released certain expansion packs, then I would guess that if you have the base game with no expansions rugs would either show up under DecorativeMiscellaneous or DecorativeAll. There are only 2 or 3 rugs that I can say for certain came with the base game- this is maybe why they didn't originally have their own sub-category, would hardly have been worth it for only a couple of items.
