Q:How do I turn my finished latch hook project into a rug?
Latch Hook Rug Backing
Q:I have a light weight rug on top of a thick wall to wall carpet? I have tried to use padding made for this purpose but it does not work. The rug continues o bunch up and not lay flat. Thanks
Generally speaking, a light weight rug is not going to lay very flat on top of a THICKER carpet. You might try looking for a heavier weight rug in a similar style instead. Even if you use tape, I think it would still not look right. It would look kind of bumpy. Sisal rugs look nice over some carpets and they are heavy enough to lay flat.
Q:I have carpeting in a room where I would like to install built-in bookshelves. How should I secure them to the floor? Do I need to remove the carpeting or can I set them on top?
If the built-ins are going to be permanent, remove the carpeting in that area. If you want to un-install them when you move, leave the carpet and securely attach the shelves to the wall behind.
Q:the corners of my rug keep bending and it alllways gets messed up and wrinkledin this middle. why does it do thatt=[
Hi, okorder / ... Hope this helps.
Q:How do you match the carpet colors?
Living room carpet collocation, we pay attention to the same hue, color, color matching, brightness, color matching principle. Hue is exquisite attention to the hue of the ring as the basis for thinking, with the hue of the rings on a similar color for color, you can get a stable and unified feeling. With the distance of color for color matching, you can achieve a certain contrast effect. Right color when choosing carpet and furniture selection or wall floor care principle, in this way, we can achieve consistent color and color of the room carpet.
Q:i have my own horses but i only have 3 rugs for each of them :turnout, cooler and stable.iv ecently been looking for new coolers on a website but i saw lots of different ones like travel rugs, fly sheets florecent exersize sheets etc.should i be buying all these or are they just different names for the ones i have allready?
i would buy a fly sheet, theyre really useful in the summer and as long as you have an exersize sheet, it doesnt really matter if its florsent or not. what have you previously been using to tarvel in? just carry on using that or a cooler with a circingle in the summer.
Q:Will skateboarding on carpet ( or maybe anyhting) with just the skateboard deck ,( no wheels, trucks), improve the actual tricks on the real thing? Thanks.
yes it can you just need to have a good tail so you can push it down. its also really good to practice popshovets goodluck
Q:I found this carpet last year by Shaw- Kathy Ireland's Young Attitudes line it's called Grape Harvest. Where and how can I find it? It's such beautiful carpet? If anyone knows where I can buy it please share. NO SMARTASS COMMENTS SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE
I was looking for Shaw Industries but couldn't find it - think their mill is located in Georgia. Contact a local carpet store that may be able track it down for you. How about the place you first saw it - they may have some overrun left. If it is discontinued then the Shaw may be your only hope - maybe they have an outlet somewhere.
Q:Do most people prefer carpet over hardwood/vinyl/linoleum?Carpets collect dust hair mites and all things gross.. and you have to vacuum which costs money.. not to mention hard work and is loud and annoying. Also, many Americans wear shoes in their homes. So why would you want a flooring that collects the dirt on the bottom of your shoes? When has home carpeting become generalized standards for most homes? Anybody know?
It's cheaper. It's more comfortable. It's less work to maintain. I wouldn't buy (or rent) a home without it.
Q:i've asked this question 3 times before, but it hasn't worked :(Red is booked in for a trace/blanket clip in a couple of days, and i was wondering if i would need to rug her up a little bit more? she is a thoroughbred chestnut (someone told me that chestnuts have thinner skin??) and is in a 100g fill w/ a neck rug atm....the coldest it has been lately would be about 10/11 degrees c....the next rug we have is a 250g fill with neck rug, so it's quite a step up...Um... yeah... would i need to start putting that on, or do you think she will be O.K??
You will need to provide more warmth, yes. Clipping strips them of their body hair and this is their only natural way to keep warm. So you'll need to provide better covers than you currently are, i suggest moving to the 250g fill and possibly even adding an under rug to that.
