If your carpet was less than ?7.00 sqm, the possibility is that it has no stain free warranty. Ask your retailer about the carpet you bought, say your not happy with how dirty it has got in so little time. Ask them about the warranty. If the carpet has worn too fast, whether you have a warranty or not you can request a check. Process for replacement of faulty carpet; 1) inform the retailer of your carpets fault 2) The retailer will organise a visit by themselves or the manufacturer representative 3) If after a check your carpet is deemed faulty you will be given a form to fill in, put the fault, and your name e.t.c. the retailer or manufacturer representative will fill in the technical details, such as the position of the fault e.t.c. 4)Depending on the extent of the fault, but the representative will normally diagnose whether or not the fault will receive a automatic replacement or whether more testing will be required. 3) Wait up to 3 weeks to receive your replacement carpet; no money will be required from you, the manufacturer will pay for the replacement and fitting.

- In the US--Usually, the carpet they remove when they replace it with the new carpet is discarded. If the owner of the home didn't care to keep it, the carpet store could take it with them. - They might be carpet beetles. BOMB! You can buy a couple of bombs in the hardware store. Close up the rooms and put a bomb in each room that has a rug. Take your pet(s) out for the day. Set off these bombs and leave. Vacuum EVERY day afterwards. Now, If the dogs are itching or if you look on their underbelly and see something crawling on them, it's probably fleas. If that's the case, you need to get meds from the vet and attack the problem with a vengeance.

- first moisture causes mold if not properly dried not ashes and second if you steam clean the area it will let up rather easily and wont stain the carpet even if left for a while.

- No, don't buy hand tufted rugs. They are made in India and China and it's tufted by using a gun..which is the cheapest way to make a pile rug ever. The tufted rug will rarely wear as well as the hand-knotted rug because the wool is almost certainly of a cheaper grade, and because the inexpensive latex glue used becomes brittle and deteriorates over time. A hand-tufted rug has resale value only equivalent to a machine-made rug of the same size.
