- Q: im 14 and i weigh around 120. i can bench press 95 to about 105. is that good for my age and size, or shuld i be able to bench press more. (ive been working out for about a month with free weights and the weight bench.)
- NO it doesnt stunt your growth your not too young i get tired of hearing this freaking myth i have been lifting weights since i was 12 im currently 5'11 and 170 pounds. Now when someone is asking what is good most say your body weight but i consider that above average or really irrelevant because someone could be heavy and not strong but for a 14 year old that is below average but im around strong people and i am one myself all the time if you work on it you should get stronger and stronger and just keep up the good work let me tell you that not to be rude but without any weight lifting when i started at 12 i could bench press 95 pounds
- Q: What is the best for OILY skin: Loose Powder or Pressed Power? If Loose powder, what is the best Loose Powder for oily skin?If Pressed Powder, what is the best Pressed Powder for oily skin?PLEASE HELP!!!xooxox
- I have oily skin, too, and I prefer pressed powder over loose powder. The one that I use is Revlon Colorstay, both the foundation and the pressed powder. They're about $8 each at Walmart. Hope this helps. :)
- Q: Can I use ground espresso in a French press coffee maker?Would this be too strong? Would it make a mess?
- you can use it by all means... the main problem will be that the coffee will seem a bit muddy... espresso is ground very fine... so the filter on the Coffee pot will mean the Coffee is a bit muddy!
- Q: what body in the uk monitors what is printed in the press?
- PCC (Press Complaints Commission) It isn't proactive, i.e. it doesn't monitor the press as such - it just adjudicates on complaints that are received.
- Q: Can you get stronger by doing this, I don't have access to bench pressing.
- It depends on how much weight the barbell has. If you have a lot of weight, then yes you can get a lot stronger in place of a bench press. You can do dumbbell bench pressing, which is the same as a bench press but with dumbbells.
- Q: Hi everyone! At my school weight room we only have a mechanical? Bench press. Like one which is a bar attached to a pulley that lifts up weights. So basically a bar you push up with adjustable weight and no free movement. Anyone tell me what it's called? Before anyone goes into saying It's far better to use an actual bar I'm just trying to make do with what I got. So basically On this thing I can push 100lbs once (13 years old) so I wanted to know what the best weight and how many reps/sets of what weight I should do for best results. I would also like to know proper technique so if someone could link me to a site or tell me that'd be great. I would also like to know best exercises to supplement my bench press. Thanks in advance,Jamie
- i'm okorder /.. the kid weighs less than 110 lbs yet can clean and jerk a 200 lb + ? weight
- Q: i think press wood is a rip off for the people that by's press wood furniture anyone agreas with me.
- Press wood as you call it might better known as particle board. It was invneted in the 50's due to a shortage of timber. in reality is well suited for aplications such as cabinets and vanities as well as furniture that is not moved much like a china hutch. It is actually a viable product and proably appears more often that you realize. not to mention it is cheap and easily made from the scraps of timber that would other wise be thrown away.
- Q: What were some impacts of the printing press and changes?I just need a list like1.something something something2.something something something3.something something somethingits for an essay but i will do the research I just need some starts!
- 1: The printing press made the manufacturing of books cheaper, easier, and faster. 2: The printing press allowed books to be accessible to more people (cheaper and greater amount of books.) 3: The printing press allowed the spread of ideas across a wider area (spread of books --spread of knowledge/ideas) How's that?
- Q: Alright so I have been lifting for about 3 months now...but my bench press is just not getting stronger. Ive been stuck at around 135-140 for anywhere from 8-12 reps depending on how i feel. I think I have pretty good form, I just dont know what I'm doing wrong. My other lifts are increasing, including other pressing movements such as my military press. My military press, in the past few months has gone around 80 pounds for 10 reps to now about 100 pounds for 10 reps, which I guess is ok progress but definitely not amazing. I am 17 years old, 6 foot 3 and weight about 170 pounds. I eat ALOT, and after workouts i supplement with protein shakes. I have been gaining weight fairly steadily. My only problem is my bench press, for some reason i just cant get it to increase. Thanks in advance :)
- Do the bench press earlier in your workout.
- Q: I'm a high school gymnast and I compete all around. For rings, p-bars, and floor, I need to learn a handstand press. Besides working core, back, and shoulders, what exercises can help me work on them? I've been practicing for a while (doing them with a spot, against a wall) but I can't get them. Any ideas? Or websites with good exercises/tutorials?
- This hapens to be the exaat situation i am in and have improved greatly by doing it off a crashmat hands on the floor feet on the mat
